This is the second pair of I have owned, but it seems that the shoe now fits a bit larger than the size listed. Not quite a 1/2 size but more a "medium" than a true 8 1/2. I will just wear thicker socks to compensate. That being said, they are very comfortable and stylish.

They seem to be about a half size to big.

Seems a nice enough shoe, maybe on the large size. I have another pair of Rockport shoes and these are definitely larger and wider.

This was the second try on the length. Width was fine look and color were great. A little tight on the top portion of left shoes but probably needs to be worned a little more . I'm sure it will be fine after that.

Shoe seems to fit the widht of my feet but the heel seems to be a bit too long.

I tried several sizes of the shoe. It is a very nice shoe but unfortunately the ones I tried either too big or too small. The Rockport sizing is quite different from the others shoes I have worn. Also the foot would always be sliding off at the heal. Even the one too small.

Size was true but the width was narrower, should have ordered the wide.

Fits my 9 4E foot perfectly. It feels custom made on my somewhat odd looking wide foot. A comfortable shoe for casual wear. You will need a break in period which is to be expected with most shoe before the fit feels good. The material they are made of tends to stay smooth and not develop the creases you typically get on a leather shoe so they tend to maintain a kind of "new" look to them which is ok. For me to find this style in a wide size that fits is almost impossible so I've bought two pairs - the black and the burgundy. My father wore this style and so that is part of the appeal for me. A very nice shoe for the price that you can easily "step in" and "step out" of.

Being not sure of my size, I looked at the size chart. I stood on a sheet of 8-1/2 x 11 paper, and my foot was just short of the length, so almost exactly the 10.975" that the chart says is good for size 11. Ordered those. They were too big. Sent them back. (Zappos return policy is very easy, but still no fun.) Got 10-1/2. Still slips off the heel when I walk, but I'm afraid 10s would be too small. The 10-1/2 are okay with heavy socks, so I will keep them. Style is great. I have burgundy, which is hard to find in other models. I have had Rockport shoes in the past, and I like their comfort and durability.

When i opened the box it was such a good looking shoe. I ordered a 4E but the delivered shoe was stamped with an XW, assuming that means extra wide. The shoe fit like a 2E, not anywhere close to a 4E. Might possibly have been kind of close to a 3e but i doubt it. Other than width, fit was great. The 10.5 length i ordered is my typical shoe size, left about 1/2 an inch in the toe for comfort and breathing. So disappointed to have to return it because it really was a great looking shoe. had a great sole too, thick, rubbery for comfort and traction. If it had been a true 4E, I would have bought extra pairs just to have them for the future. bummer.

I have a bunion so I'm looking for a wider shoe. This is one of the few slip-on dress shoes that comes in 2E or 4E. The 4E width is plenty wide enough however the shoe runs big so I found the combination of 4E and longer than expected didn't work for me. My feet were swimming in the shoes and my heel slipped out on every step. I even tried a size smaller but had the same problem with 4E so I tried the same size with 2E. This is snugger on my heel but might might be too narrow for my bunion. I'm going to try this pair on the carpet a few times to see if it works. The shoe is a bit stiff but I otherwise like it so long as I can get a pair that fits.

I ordered my size (8 1/2). I exchanged for an 8 and they're still a little large, but I can live with that. A 7 1/2 would have been perfect, but they were not available. Zappo's exchange service is great. They delivered the replacement pair the following day. Excellent!
