I liked these boots, but not as much as I loved the red Rieker boots, which is why I am returning these. Still, these boots are comfortable right from the beginning and the extra room the shoes offer around the middle and the tip promises ease of wear. I bought them in my regular size 39 and in the green color, which is probably not the best color for my wardrobe but I thought it was more interesting than the usual brown or black. I also found them to be shorter than I usually like, but they would be good shoes to have it they match your style.

These are beautiful shoes. Love them. However, they front of the shoe rubs against the front of my ankles. It is rather rough. I would have to wear heavy socks to be comfortable.

Well made nice looking boot but, for my foot, not enough arch support and no room for an insert. I wear 8-8.5 and these 39s were fine with regular vs winter socks. Winter socks would not have worked out of the box. Perhaps with some wear they will soft and stretch.

I usually take a size 39 but after reading reviews I ordered a size 40. Too small! So glad Zappos has free shipping and returns! I ordered size 41 and they fit perfectly. I usually order a wide if its available, which it is not in this line, but the regular width works fine. If you have a truly "wide" foot, this style may not work for you, or else size up. I got the red, LOVE the color. I would call it a Merlot or oxblood and the finish is matte, not shiny, I love that. It's a really good neutral color actually and I'm so tired of black. And what fast shipping, for those of us who has zero patience. Anyway, I put them on as soon as I opened the box and walked over a mile during lunch time running errands. They are super comfy, easy to walk in and I love them. I like a good arch support in shoes with "heels" but the heel on these is so low, they nearly feel like I'm walking barefoot. Eventually I will also get the black ones. As I've gotten older I really appreciate a cute shoe/boot with lower heels that doesn't bother my feet and yet looks good.

Right out of the box, these were comfy, which is just what I needed: a cute Chelsea boot that would let me do lots of walking. I'm usually between an 8 and 8.5, and the 39 fits me perfectly with a pair of socks. These are easy to dress up or down, and I love the way they look on, not fussy or flashy - just a great and comfortable option for a Chelsea boot.

I LOVE these boots. There were recommendations to order a size smaller, but I these were true to size for me. Easy to slip on, just walked through the snow and no leaks. Great to walk for miles. Perfect winter/fall traveling shoe!

My size varies between 8 1/2 and 9. These boots tend to run a bit small, so I would recommend sizing up, especially if you might want to wear warm socks in winter. Very comfortable and rather hip.

Very cute, but unfortunately they run small. Sadly there's not a larger size than 11...
