I loved everything about these boots except they're too tight around my calf. They would be perfect with someone with a very slim leg. Sadly, I have to return them.

Sadly, even after trying 1 and 2 shoe sizes larger (the 2 sizes larger to accommodate an arch support insole), these shoes just don't work with my feet. I read the reviews and ordered 1 size up (I wear an 8, ordered a 9), my friend who wears a 9 also tried these on and said they were too snug for her. I returned and ordered a 10. Still too snug width-wise, with or without the insoles or thick socks. They're good looking shoes, but I just can rationalize paying top price for shoes that don't fit my feet better. I'm told they last, are durable and are clearly quality made. Bummer they can't be my go-to shoes.

I liked these boots but could not wear them because the seam on the top cut into my foot and hurt to walk. I am not a fan of the sole design either, as it would seem dirt can get into the crevasses and make them hard to clean. I would not wear these except on pavement. They are well made and fairly lightweight, other than that, but they had to go back because of the uncomfortable seam.
