I love the style and color of this shoe, but the size 37 that I always order in Alegria was too big in this shoe. I couldn’t keep it on when taking steps so had to return. I’ll order a 36 if it’s available, but sizes were limited when I placed the initial order, so I might be out of luck. Bummer. The 3 stars is because of sizing, not because of style or shoe quality.

Shoes were very uncomfortable with very thick insoles.

The material felt good. A bit short. When walking the heals of both feet slipped out. Not enough of a lip to it

No arch and totally non supprtive

Something is different. I have been wearing this style of Alegria for years, and I ordered my usual size, but my big toe is painfully pushing against the shoe in both. I’m hoping that they will stretch a bit with wear because I already threw out the box and can’t return. So disappointed in these shoes. As a teacher, Alegria is my go-to work shoe, and I’ve never had a problem before. Will just have to tough it out and see if they stretch.

Fit was great...Really wanted to keep these shoes but they acted like a flip-flop...meaning that they made the flip-flop noise when I walked.

9W felt good width-wise, but too short. I tried the 9-1/2-10 via Amazon, it was too long. Unfortunate, as these seem like very nice shoes.

These felt like the right size but my heel kept slipping out of the back. I guess I need either a clog or an actual full shoe.

One shoe was wide, as ordered, the other shoe was a regular width.

I am usually a 7.5 and went with an 8 on this shoe because that’s what was recommended, but these were big. The fit was odd - I felt like I had flippers on with wide toes. They looked more stylish on the website. Returned.

My wife normally wears a 39 in Alegria shoes but this shoe is small and I will need to buy a larger size for her.

I ordered what Zappos recommended and they were definitly too large. I usually order a 38

I've worn this style before and it was a perfect fit. This pair has and elastic insert on one side and they are much larger. I'm not sure I could go down a full size. I'm debating on keeping them because of the fit. I'm not sure wearing a cotton sock would solve the fit problem.

I have owned several pairs of Alegria shoes and have always enjoyed how comfortable they are. However, the toe box on this pair are too tight. Even though I typically get a 39 in this brand, the 39 in this style felt very short. I did not care for the partial heel. The shoes squeak on hardwood floors. I wanted to love them, but I just don't.

Shoes were too small

I ordered these because the picture showed no elastic insert on the side of the shoe. I have worn this brand for years but with the elastic they are to loose.

I really wanted to keep these shoes. Super cute but they slipped up and down to much when I walked. I might try a size smaller later. I am usually a 7 M but I ordered a 37 (7-71/2) wide. I liked the width but the European size is difficult to figure out.

Size-wise fit right but construction-wise too stiff. Back slid up and down on heels. Not comfortable.

These shoes ran small so I returned them to get a bigger size. They were very comfortable then, but I thought they made my large feet look even larger.

The sizing was spot on but it was wide. I’ve always worn a medium. This shoe was wide. Might be ok with heavy socks.

Too small. Ordered my regular size but was just a size too small. Color on site is not true. I thought bottom was black but it’s a bright blue.

The size is right, but I can't keep it on my foot. I walk out of it at every step. It's going back. Too bad, because it seemed to be a really comfortable shoe.

I do not like the elastic gore. The leather edges are sharp and bother my ankles. I had a similar pair two years ago and they were awesome! Did not have the gore at all. I am disappointed with the new style.

I agree with others who said an ankle sock gets pulled into the shoe. I haven’t tried them with crew socks. Barefoot is actually quite comfortable but too cold in the OR!
