I did not receive a new pair of shoes, someone with wider feet than mine had the opportunity to stretch them out. Unfortunately for me, that made them too big. This was my second try, I give up!

Too narrow. Also where the leather was stitched around the elastic was very irritating.

Given the shape and appearance of a wider toe box I thought these would fit my wide feet. I have a lot of luck with Keens and Merrell that way. I could only squeeze into these with very thin socks and they were extremely tight and uncomfortable.

These felt too long by a full size. I will exchange them for a smaller size and review them again once I receive them.

Love them. Lots of room for my toes so they don't feel squished. There is a squeak with each step I take which is driving me crazy, but they are so supportive and comfortable I keep wearing them anyway.

I wish there were other choices, that above for the size. These clogs.mules felt a bit on the small side, though not a half or full size too small. I did not find that had any arch support, though that may have developed over time, as the foot bed would conform to one's feet, however, keeping them to find out was not possible. I found the toe box was not deep enough for my feet. I do not have a high depth foot. However, the top of the toe box was putting pressure on the top of my toe nails, which was very uncomfortable. This is a shame, as these are beautiful looking shoes. I had the recommended thumb distance between the end of my longest toe and the end of the shoes, however, when I walked the heel area rubbed the against the bottom back of my heels, which also was uncomfortable. I could not slide my feet any farther into the shoes to solve this problem. If it had not been for the fact that the toe box was not deep enough, I might have tried the next size up, however, I did not think that the next size larger would solve the problem. So, sadly I needed to send the shoes back. These may be nice shoes for someone else, but they just did not work for my feet.

These clogs are great. This is my second pair. The only thing that I am not happy about is with the new pair, there is a slit on the side (which can not be seen from the photo online, with some elastic, I guess allowing for some flexibility. When I wore them with socks, it was not a problem, but when I put them on with bare feet, it is a little scratchy.

I bought this exact shoe in this exact size years ago and loved them. I actually still wear them and they held up well. However, I recently bought them again and had to return them because they were much too small. They fit very tightly. I thought maybe my old ones had just stretched out, but I don’t think that’s it because they were so uncomfortably tight that I would never have kept them the first time if they were like that . I think maybe their sizing has changed a bit or their material has changed .

I'm so confused! I wear a size 7 shoe in most styles. I have now tried this style shoe in three different sizes: 37 (7-7.5); 36 (6-6.5); and 35 (5-5.5). These are my findings: There was absolutely no difference between the 37s and the 36s, AND both sizes were much too big too big! My latest pair is the size 35. These are much shorter than the other two sizes, and suprizingly they are a fairly good fit for my feet. My only problem with the 35s is that, when I insert my custom orthotics it moves my foot slightly forward, which makes my toes touch the front of the shoe. The shoes are otherwise quite comfortable. For now I'll need to wear the shoes around the house for awhile to decide whether I can tolerate my toes being a bit crowded at the front. I've never had such a hard time trying to find the right size in a shoe. I'm sure that Zappos is getting very tired of processing my returns, but it can't be helped. If you can find a size in this shoe that fits you, I think you'll be happy with them. But good luck with that.

I already left a review for these, but Zappos keeps asking me for a review, so here it is again: In my recent experience, THESE SHOES RUN VERY, VERY LARGE. I always order a 37 (US 7) in my shoes, so that's what size Layla I ordered. These were very large, so I exchanged for a 36 (US 6). This pair fit exactly the same as the 37s -- much too long. I could still insert my thumb between the back of my heel and the rear of the shoe, and this was with socks. I would have exchanged for the next smaller size, but it turns out that 36 is as small as they go. This was a complete waste of time. They were nice-looking shoes, and very comfortable, so I was very disappointed.

I wear a size 7, so I ordered a 37. The shoes were comfortable, but were at least a whole size too long. I exchanged them for a size 36. This pair actually feels longer than the size 37s. While wearing a pair of heavy socks, I can still easily insert my thumb behind my heel. I had planned to exchange this pair for the next size down, but I see that they don't come in any size smaller than 36. I'm extremely disappointed because the shoes were very comfortable. Sadly, I'm going to return this second pair.

Honestly, I love everything about these shoes!

I only wish they didn't have a suede leather inside. I the type that has to wear socks and the grab and tighten the sock around my toes as I walk. But super cute. I'm hoping that the suede gets slick.

I love the clog , but it seemed short on me and a full size longer would be too long. Also, the toe area felt cramped. I took another reviewer's advice and walked around the house for a bit, but that did not alleviate the problem. I will stick to the sandals, forget about the shoes I guess. Also, there is a beige lining and it does peep out in some areas and is weird.

The Kayla is a very nice shoe, which I would have kept. The exception is the gusseted material with the elastic on the instep, it is rough and digs into my skin without socks. So unfortunately they have to go back.

These shoes are fine if you plan to wear socks, but the elastic gusset has some VERY sharp corners. Truly uncomfortable on bare feet. Returning them.

I ordered these because I have a pair of Alegria sandals that I really love, particularly because of the supportive shape of the sole. I found the feel of these against the sole of my foot to be different, and not as supportive as I had hoped. They are perfectly nice shoes, but not what I'm looking for.

So sad that the "newer" Kayla with elastic goring isn't working for me. Even IF I pad my instep to prevent a little slipping Forward - this isn't going to work - so I'm sending them back. Actually: I have a pair of the SOLID black Kayla's "PRE- Elastic". They were great at 1st. Even AFTER my feet changed a little (and the edge of my Big Toe rubbed) - I got the Wide Insoles. The Wide Insoles work WITH thin wool socks VS Opaque Knee High Trouser Socks. BEFORE using the Wide insoles: I 1st asked the shoemaker IF he could stretch the toe area. He wanted to shave down my "regular" Insole - BUT I was concerned because THE insole is the HEART of this shoe. He did SUGGEST using those white oval shaped pads To Prevent my foot from slipping Forward a little. So.....TRY the WIDE insoles - they make a difference. Great Clogs when they fit!!!!!

I normally wear 8.5 wide. I ordered what they recommended for that size, but they are too small, at the same time that the heel is very loose. Beautifully made, and probably very comfortable for people whose feet fit their design. I'm sending them back.

I bought this in a 9 and returned it as it felt a little too big. I am in between an 8 1/2 and a 9, maybe 9 1/2, depending on brand. I think this shoe is a much better shoe than my old Merrell's because of the arch support. Kept a Dansko slip on instead.

This is a very nice shoe. If you are looking for comfort, this is a good choice. However, I bought the shoes to wear with orthotics, and encountered an unexpected problem. The removable soles are deep, and my orthotics are not. So when I removed the soles and replaced them with my orthotics, the shoes were way too big.

Really liked the shoe but found it was too large for the left foot so I had to return them. Zappos has been wonderful with returns. Thanks for the excellent customer service. Would love to find a slip on shoe that worked for my slightly smaller left foot. For now will have to stick with tie shoes and strap shoes.

Run large. 5 is more like a 5.5

I had to return as the shoe slipped at the heel even with socks. Great material but could not walk safely in them.

Liked much about these shoes, particularly the leather lining. But they were somewhat too small and the arch support was painful--far too hard, making walking uncomfortable. Had to return.
