These shoes were perfect for my kiddo's SMOs- We temoced the tongue and it gave enough space for the velcro and buckles to fit. Thanks New Balance for your styles that give us the capability to do that.

My 5 y.o. is going on 3 months of hard daily wear with these shoes, and they're still in great shape. They have been through the washer and dryer and emerged unscathed. He likes them a lot, and they sure can take a beating!

These are wonderful shoes for an active boy - I got them in wide so there is no issues with putting them on and off. He can manage velcro on his own which is a huge bonus. True to size. We had another NB sneakers before, and they were the best we had, so I am returning another NB pair. They are worth the price since they will last until they grow out of them!

My kid really likes these shoes. The velcro makes it easy for him to put them on himself.

LOVE these shoes for my son! Wide opening with the velcro makes them easy to get on and off so he can do it himself. Great colors too; new fav shoes!

These are much cuter in person than I expected. We were big fans of the old NB 990 style for toddlers and sad to see the navy version retired, but this is a decent substitute. We ordered a 10.5 for our almost 10.5 son and it felt too snug, so we're trying again for an 11. Otherwise, this is a well-constructed shoe that should be good for a kid who tends to pronate.

We bought this shoes for my 3 year old son. He has wide feet and as soon as he started walking at 12 months old nothing but New balance he has worn. This shoes are not exception, great fit and absolutely gorgeous color, the picture does not do it justice!

My son has a wide foot so I ordered in a wide. It was too wide and the tongue of the shoe was very long.
