This is my second pair of Mountain 600s to replace a pair I used for 6 years of HEAVY outdoor adventures. Hands down my favorite hiking boots I have owned. I've used them hiking every terrain imaginable, and they've stood the test every time.

I went with the recommendation of going a half size down and the boots fit perfect. Also the boots inside cushion is amazing and there was no break in period. Boots felt great right out of the box. I wear them daily and feet always feel good after wearing them for 8-10 hours a day. I would highly recommend these and look forward to purchasing more in the future.

I do janitorial / maintenance work and walk 5-8 miles a day at work. These are the most comfortable shoes I have found.

The order took a long time for fulfillment but the boots themselves are great. Fits true to size, nice smooth leather texture and comes with the red laces in. Some brands I have to go with a wide to get adequate toe space and these worked as is. Waterproofing has worked in moderate rain and puddles, havent been on a full hike. Lighter outsole shows dirt so be aware.

I broke my foot and had several surgeries to insert pins/plates and repair ligament damage. Since then, I have struggled to find comfortable hiking boots. The Danner Mountain 600s are excellent shoes and very comfortable while providing good performances.

Excellent day hikers for three seasons. Light weight for ascents. Soles protect from sharp rocks & leather sides high enough to avoid abrasions. Good traction & quick to place.

Most comfortable boots Ever! Super light and more comfortable than my running shoes! Ive had a lot of danners over the years but these fit incredible. I ordered a wide as they run narrow.

Danner is unparalleled for their footwear and the Mountain 600 is no exception. They also offer a great warranty so if anything happens in the first year they will repair or replace them. We bought this pair for our grandson who works in the field, literally, studying plants for his Master's degree. He wears them everyday from classroom to his work outdoors.

The shoes are very sturdy and well made. I got the cleaning kit too so looking forward to seeing how well it keeps the shoes clean.

Bought a new pair, (size 10) to replace the old pair. However, the new pair is too large. I was able to give them to my son who wears size 11, but now I dont know which size to order and deal with a hassle of returning if they dont fit.

Love the boots however the size seems to be off. I wear size 12 and ordered size 12 and unfortunately they are a bit big. Not w huge deal but on steep downhills my feet slip forward - so I likely wont wear these for backpacking trips which is what I had intended them for.

Excellent boot!

I have worn Danner boots for decades and am on my second pair of mountain 600s. I walked a few hundred miles through the Rocky Mountains with my first pair. I didnt have as good of luck with this pair. The tongue is crooked on one of my boots, and it is uncomfortable just above my ankle.
