These boots are certainly not inexpensive. Thinking that you get what you pay for, and reflecting upon Danners excellent reputation, I placed my order. The boots are beautiful, but entirely too narrow. I tried breaking them in by wearing them around the house, but they caused so much foot pain that I had to abandon the effort. I understand that hiking boots are supposed to be a bit narrower to provide additional support, but this was something else. These boots were WAY too narrow. By the way, the width ordered was D. Thats all I have ever worn, so I feel like something is wrong with the boots I ended up with.

These boots are incredibly comfortable and light. I really like the look of them and their stability. I personally get in a better mood the moment I put them on. I have flat wide feet and they feel like heaven.

Great outdoor shoe. Mostly wear when I'm in woods or doing yard work. Very comfortable and light.

They look real boxy and the color is lighter than photos online and description

They fit great,easy break in. This is my second pair I wore the tread off the last pair. Lasted several years.

Greatest hiking boots ever

When I was looking for boots, I spent many weeks/hours searching and trying on Boots. At Reds Shoe Barn In Dover NH, the sales person, after 1 hour of trying different boots on, brought out an Danner 600 Style 62250 size 10.5 EE. The second that I tried one boot on I said "I'll buy them". The sales person commented "just like that after all this time", I replied "Yes just like that - they feel better than any other boot I've tried". I have had these Mountain 600 for a few years now. They are bar far the very best boot I've ever owned. I wear them all day long, every day, whether hiking or working. I even have taken the boots off my feet and let other people try them on. All are impressed with how comfortable they feel. For the record I am a retired Engineer not a sales person. All my life I've struggled buying foot wear that fit and were comfortable.

Great fit, comfort, construction. Did not like the color combination so returned for an alternative color

Very comfortable. Sizing was exactly what I expect from 8.5 Wide. I don't have info on the waterproofing yet. This is the third pair of Danner's I've bought in the last 18 months. Best boots I have ever worn. I plan on Danner only from now on.

This is my second pair. First pair bought 3 years ago held up well. Not sure my recent purchase is made as well. Ill be anxious to see if they hold up as well

These boots are great, they are comfortable quiet, flexible, and made with great quality. I would definitely buy the same pair, if not similar again, they do great while hiking as a provides great grip.

These boots are my favorite pair of summer boots. Generally wear just like a tennis shoe. So thankful to have gotten them in time for the long summer work months.

Perfect for morning dew and watering greens on the golf course. Now I need something for warmer weather that meets the same needs.

These are the most comfortable hiking boot I have ever put on. You could put these boot on out of the box an hike for three weeks without a problem. I bought my first pair of Danner boots in the 70s an have never looked back.

Great boot. I originally ordered it for a nice town boot in winter and ended up wearing it nearly every day because it was so comfortable. As Danner recommends, I first ordered 1/2 size smaller and then I ended up ordering a full size smaller (from 12.5 to 11.5 US). I have an average to narrow width foot and the boot is roomy without being sloppy. I also did not want an insulated boot (ie., sweaty) and this boot is warm and seems to breath well. The suede texture is holding up better than I expected. Traction is good to great depending upon the snow type/wet surface. I am very happy with this boot and would recommend it if it fits your foot.

Overall this boot is awesome. I give it 4 stars due to fitting. Right boot was extremely tight in the toe compared to the left. I have not experienced this problem with any other brand.

I thought I loved the Danner sharp tail hikers until I tried the Mountain 600. Probably the lightest most comfortable hiking boot I have ever had on my foot . Im going to order me another pair!!!!
