Took a few days to break in, but once they did, they felt like plush couches on the inside and humvees on the outside, I love them!

Lovely boot, fit true to size, I wanted to see if these could stand up as heavy hikers. I ordered these and the 453's and decided to go with those. I would say these are just right for day hiking and lighter duty.

Fit as expected. Very comfortable. I have been buying Danner for 30 years now. Like a lot of things nothing ever stays the same. But I have had continued quality products.

Beautiful boots light& comfortable , soft as a pair of Sox. Poking forward to breaking them in on the tight spots

Unreal boot!

Tough as a tank, and light as a feather, these boots are blessing to hikers everywhere. I was looking for a light hiking shoe and stumbled upon these beauties. I love tho look of a classic hiking boot but they tend to be to heavy. Enter the Mountain 600s. These boots have all the lightness of a sneaker with the durability that a Danner boot can provide! Im looking forward to many miles in these, and the best part is when they do wear down i can get them resoled!!!

I first saw these boots online, tried them looking for a lightweight upland hunting boot. These are perfect waterproof and comfortable for a long day on the hunt would highly recommend them

I literally bought these again just to have a second pair. I work on my feet all day as well as hike so pair #1 is becoming my full time hikers and pair #2 my work boots. They are the comfiest boot I have ever owned and that is straight out of the box. And not to mention stylish. I work with the public in healthcare and get more comments questions and compliments about these boot than any other boot I ever adorned. I love these and all my other Danner products. I am a fan for life!

Boot looks well constructed but the toe box narrows too much towards the front for my foot.

I tested them on a 3-day hike. There was quite a bit of rain, and most of the hike was a bushwack. The boots kept my feet comfortable, if not completely dry (no shoe really does after a certain point of saturation.) Due to a stiffer bottom, you are highly suseptible to slipping on anything remotely wet, i.e. rocks, roots, leaves. I felt the tread was also partly at fault; even mud gave me difficulty in finding purchase. The Danner Campos (trail runners) perform much better in these regards. These boots are extremely easy to slip on/off which is a definite bonus when you have wet feet. Overall, they are comfortable without a break-in period, hold up to wet environments well, yet lack in decent traction. I am going to continue using them, as always Danner knows how to build a good shoe/boot.

The boots fit, which is difficult for me to find. I have not worn them yet for any real activity thus I hope not to find problems. My military experience with Danner boots was always positive, thus my expectations are probably very high.

Definitely giving these the full 5 stars they are worth. I previously owned a pair, and they lasted many years of regular walking and hiking, over the past 3 years, almost exclusively with our dogs on a daily basis. Never any problem with my feet. Other boots? Not so much! I never had any issue with heel rub or toe cram with my previous pair. This brand new pair is currently a bit tight, but all good footwear needs to be broken-in. Based on my previous experience, my standard 9D size will fit after a few good wears. They are comfortable, and handle any terrain (conditions) with ease. The only flaw is that the side seams at the wide point around the start of the toe box will eventually separate, and then there are parts of the sole which will eventually break off. But, if I get another many years out of these, I will be completely pleased. Notice how I used all 3 of their target words? Yay... Silly.

I love them! Definitely one of the most comfortable shoes/boots Ive ever worn, hands down!

Love them!

The boots are light weight for the size, fit nicely and have a very comfortable feel to them. The soles and base of the boot are cushy and have excellent grip. The boots are actually nicer than I thought they would be. I am looking forward to wearing them out and seeing how the refurbish process works as well. Excellent value for the boot!

These are my fifth pair of mountain 600s I could care less about The color scheme. They never disappoint
