This boot is well made, stylish, and comfortable - with a couple of exceptions. With several foot surgeries behind me, I need low heels and good forefoot padding. The low nonslip heels are great, but the sole is not that padded (although there is enough room to add a forefoot insole). The heel is also wide and slips/rubs as you walk, although this has gotten somewhat better with break-in. I like these boots a lot, and plan to wear them often, although I wish they had been made with a little more comfort for the price.

You will need to give it a few days to break in.

These are my first Dolce Vita shoes. Originally ordered the 8.5 but had to exchange for the size 9. Comfortable and have required no break-in. The dark taupe is a nice neutral shade that pairs well wth many outfits.

Love the style of this bootie, was just what I was looking for! Ordered a half size up, as I usually do for boots, and holy moly are they tight. They are suede, so trying to get a socked foot into a too tight shoe, misery. Sadly, I will not be exchanging these for a bigger size as I spilled something on them as they were being tried on around the house! Going to do my best to stretch them out just a bit.

Ordered the camel - pretty color, well made boot but the fit was about a 1/2 size larger.

Ordered wide, yet it cramped my toes. The front of foot to ankle was loose material, so you slide forward.

Yes, they are comfortable...extremely and I kept them but I have to say, they get passed up in the closet frequently because every time I wear them, I feel like a bit of a troll. They are a bit clunky. I have a petite frame and perhaps they are out of proportion to my body.

I just put them on today for a couple of hours to break them in. I find the the fit to be strange: In the heel area they are extra wide in the wide size. BUT this cannot be remedied with thicker socks because while the heel is wide, the toe box is narrow! The area that goes around the ankle is very wide. I will keep them and somehow figure it out. I wonder if this pair was a lemon and not cut properly. They look pretty as pictured, but because of all the width allowance for the ankle area, they pucker there.

The leather around ankle on front of the foot was stiff and painful going down the steps.

I ordered 2 sizes of the same shoe. One was correct, but the other was sent in a different color and not W like ordered. These are really cute, but there is no lining and the leather seems thin. Very little support. Couldn’t get even a third pair to fit my foot!

The fit is true to size. I'm usually an 8.5, but I thought I should order up because my foot is a little wider. Don't . . . The 9 was too long. The arch support is minimal. If you need good support, check out Vionic because this is not the boot for you. Also, I'm not happy with the Dark Taupe color. It is a lot lighter than the images. I would describe it as bone or blonde. Very, very light.

The zippers on these boots are a huge problem.

These fit me well in my true size-- I'd say they are slightly on the narrow side, which worked for me because I have a narrow foot. They are nice looking, but came up a little high on my ankle bone and I could see them rubbing if I walked a lot in them. I sent them back, primarily because they were very stiff and uncomfortable in the heel area, and for the price, I wanted something I could wear on a day to day basis and walk a lot in.

I was so disappointed in these shoes. The front flap actually doesn't come up as high as it appears to. I love the color, and they are somewhat comfortable, but just didn't like the way they felt, so I'll be returning them.

I was saving these adorable boots for a special occasion. Good thing I put them on in the house and walked around for a bit as the zippers were literally scraping my ankles. So they are going back. If they had one zipper instead of two they would have been perfect. It was the inside one that killed me! Love this company but this bootie just didn't work.

These are beautiful shoes. They were super narrow. Also, the arch fit in an odd place on the foot. I'm disappointed they didn't work out.

This bootie runs a little narrow in the ball of the foot but I struggle with bunions. It also slips in the heel area. It looks great on the foot though!

If you need room in the front of your foot, then I would steer clear of these. Cute but too narrow for me

These are not very comfortable and seem a bit slouchy. Returning.

These boots are beautiful in person, I ordered the dark grey color. I did end up returning though, I have a bunion on one foot and even in the wide width seemed snug, not so snug that I think they would've stretched enough in time, but also, they slid on my heels when I walked around my house. I wear a 12 wide, so there was no size adjusting for me to try a different one. I wish they would've worked out for me, because they looked to be of good quality, something that will last a long time.

zappos you don't have to post this, just wanted to write about how the boot was defective. It did not give me the option for notes, as I think it should, after defective merchandise is selected. The left boot toe area had defective leather qualities, it was shiny for some reason, the boot is suede! Also had a nick in the side of heel.

I ordered 8 pairs of booties and the search continues. I liked the look of these but when I out them on they were like elf shoes with at least 1/2" between my big toe and the end of the show. I am a size 11 so my feet need not look any longer. The double zipper was a little busy too so these ones are going back.

Loved the shoe but runs large, my heel keeps slipping up, but Very cute.

The zippers were a bit difficult to open and close. There is barely any softness of the inner sole. They are not too hard but a cushiony feel would have been better. Tried to put a cushiony inner sole in, but they do not fit. The boots are nicely made and attractive.
