Most people may not realize that Fitflop offer four different widths and their sizes are half a size larger than normal. Fitflop Skinny is a Standard Microwobbleboard = Slightly Narrower Fit. You can find more fit information from Fitflop website. It would be very helpful if Zappos specify the "name of the width" with each Fitflop style. I agree with most of the customers that the leather of this Skinny Metallic is very stiff on the toe thong and on the top edge of the shoe band. Silicone tube wrap doesn't work, too thick between my toes. I found Dr. Scholl's Molefoam padding tape works best for me. It's a self adhesive cotton felt tape. I cut a small piece & wrap it around the toe post, and tape a larger piece on the top of the shoe band. My sandals feel much better now! Fitflop Lulu leather is a much better & softer material. They should use the same construction materials for the Skinny style! I shouldn't have to do so much work for a pair of $90 sandals!!!

Toe separator is very stiff and rough. Actually tore the skin after wearing for a few hours. Great looking shoe but painful for now!

I have lived in my FitFlops for the past 7 years now and this is the first pair in which I am really disappointed. The toe thong is rough and the top of the shoe has rubbed a line across the top of my foot near my ankle. They don't give me the great "AH" feeling my other 6 pairs do. I love the color, cork and style yet I will not be wearing these all over Europe or 10 miles a day in Disney. It hurt just 1/2 of a day. Almost bought the Lattice Surfa which looks more like the classic style. Wish I had. So sad :-(

Order one and a half or one size down. I am typically a 7.5 and a size 6 in Fit Flops fits me perfectly. I love this sandal. It is extremely comfortable and attractive. The cork sole seems to offer a shock absorber effect. My feet never hurt in these cute Fit Flops. Many miles have been walked in these sandals and I highly recommend. They can be worn with a summer dress, shorts, jeans, capris - whatever your heart desires. The gold is lovely and soft.

I ordered both the Banda and The Skinny for comparison. In the end, The Skinny won out for me. It was stiffer out of the box, but softened up after wearing in the house for a few hours. Overall, it felt sturdier. I like the adjustable upper, and the added height is nice. Cork bottom is cute for summer styles. I usually wear 6 1/2-7, but always order 6 in Fitflops. I'm a HUGE fan, and have lost count of how many I've owned. Incredibly comfortable!

I love these fit flops. I like the nice change with the cork heel.i have them in both colors. They are very comfortable but like most fit flops run one size larger than what you would normally wear unless you have a really wide foot .zappos guys continue to be awesome and professional as always .

I've been a fan of FitFlops for years. I am prone to foot issues if I don't wear shoes with proper support, but I still want to wear something that's stylish and pretty! The Skinny Metallic fits the bill for both comfort and style. The footbed provides great support. The cork-silver combo is a great neutral that goes with just about everything I wear. The only reason I did not rate them 5 stars across the board is that the strap feels a little more stiff and noticeable between the toes than FitFlops I've had in the past. Maybe I just need to break them in some more. Not a big issue as I am keeping them!

I ordered these as well as the LuLus. While the cork sole and gold buckle made these more like proper sandals and less like flipflops, they weren't as comfortable. The footbed was firmer, the toe post was harder, and the top was lined with leather, not the soft, cushy material of the LuLu style. In the end, comfort won over looks and I returned the Skinny style.

I got these in Pale Gold in my usual size 6 and they fit fine (I have a slightly wide foot and can wear a 6.5 sometimes). The only issue I have is that the toe post is a little far over (towards the center) it presses against my second toe. I know that it'll soften with time since it's leather, but for now it hurts a bit. The footbed is great as with all FitFlops and the pale gold/cork looks pretty on the feet. I'm glad FitFlop is improving their style options. This pair does have a faint chemical odor but that'll probably go away soon enough. I put the buckle on the second-tightest hole, and I have a high instep, so for those with flat feet the tightest buckle may not be snug enough once they stretch out. Leave it to Zappos for having the best selection of FitFlops!

I really wanted to keep these as they are very stylish, but I just couldn't get a good fit. The first pair, I ordered my normal size and they were huge, but I liked the look/style so I returned them and order the next size smaller. The smaller size fit in length, but the leather band portion of the sandal is so high that still my foot was sliding making it difficult to walk.

I've been wearing FitFlops NONSTOP since first discovering them 6 years ago. I live in a warm climate so I seriously wear my various Fitflops 99% of the time. These are the pits - absolutely THE WORST product I've bought from FitFlop in all the time I've been wearing the brand. It was impossible to properly adjust the shoe to get it to be snug enough and yet not uncomfortable - the result being that you're either sloshing around inside the shoe, with the distinct possibility of falling/stepping out mid-step and hurting yourself or, in my case, literally rubbing the top of my foot raw. There are several variations of the skinnier/slimmer FitFlop and they're just horrible. They don't sit right, the material feels stiff and isn't cushioned like it was on the original Walkstar style, and the toe post is stiff/uncomfortable. I can NOT recommend this shoe to anyone who doesn't want to torment their feet!

These Fit Flops were as stiff as cardboard and gave me blisters both in the toe area and on top of my foot within 10 blocks. I have comfortably worn Fit flops before and have had no problem. There is definitely somethIng wrong with the leather on this particular sandal, which is a shame because the platinum color is great. The company should also wrap the toe piece if there is going to be a stiff sharp seam. I hope this review saves someone's feet.
