I had to return these boots because the top opening was a way too small for my fat legs. The shoe part for the boot was actually too wide for my feet. This is my first attempt to purchase boots. I may have to look for a shorter boot. I am looking for ankle support but I was unable to zip these boots much more than half way up. The search goes on,

I've bought these boots for my son, and he decided to return them. They are way too big and wide. At least 2 sizes too large. And the leather feels too thin and too stiff.

If you've ever worn a really good quality side zip boot, you'll be disappointed in these even at the low asking price. I tried these because I have wide feet and it's getting hard to get European-made zip boots, which tend to run wide, for much under $700. First, these are in no way 3E width. They are at best, E width. Second, the leather is thin, but backed with foam to make it feel substantial. Unfortunately, this gives the boot next to no support; it feels like a houseshoe. Not only does this not feel good to wear, but it makes the boot crease and fold within minutes of wearing. Frankly, it looks even cheaper than the $135 price. If I saw these on someone, my first thought would be something along the lines of Stacy Adams for maybe $80. Finally, the style is unflattering. The last of the boot is not just narrow in the forefoot, but also narrow in the midfoot and arch. This gives the boot a straight and uninteresting shape. Also, the leather is split and coated, so it has no grain. Bottom line, you don't get much for your $135. I'll grant that they seemed well assembled, and the left and right boots matched well. I'd say this boot will work under these circumstances: 1) They are at the limit of your budget; 2) You have narrow feet with high arches. Otherwise, especially if you have normal or narrow feet, I advise anyone wanting to buy these to save up another $100 to put toward something better.

Ordered an 8.5 and an 8.5 was delivered and they are way, way, way too big. sheesh.

These are nice, but they only lasted about 5 months before they split apart at the midsole, exposing the inside of the shoes to the outside. In winter. Florsheim used to make very nice shoes. Not sure what they are doing now.

Ran to small and were an odd color brown

This show was not an 11.5, was much larger

The sole of the shoe was very thin and pliable. I returned them for this reason.

Fit and size,not good

Boots arrived already worn. Some dirt on soles, scuffed leather and worn look on top.
