Very comfortable supportive insole. outsole rubber has good traction. The upper actually is real leather, but unfortunately everything else is synthetic made in China. The only negatives are that the leather upper is a little soft and prone to scuffing and the diameter of the top of the upper is slightly larger than I need, but this is probably because on average over the past few decades Americans have gotten chubby and need the extra half in diameter.

Extremely comfortable, zipper held up for 3 years. Constantly getting people asking what brand they are. Used almost daily through airport terminals, tarmacs in Arizona heat, winter slush (they're not remotely waterproof or resistant in any significant wet precipitation) and everything in between. I used up my first pair after about 3 years. Uppers and zippers were in great shape but soles and insole, not so much..so I purchased a second pair. My only gripes are that they're quite warm (perfect in fall and winter) for the summer although not bad if always inside in the AC, otherwise feet sweat considerably. Secondly, the soles are merely glued on. I barely grazed my boot heel on my suitcase going up the escalator and the heel has delaminated. This has now happened on both pairs! I've fixed them with a temporary shoe goo fix but it's a disappointment on a boot which I otherwise love. Every other part of the sole has stayed put so perhaps I'm just hard on the boots. Lastly, there is a small metal piece under the insole for structure which can set off airport metal detectors. They're also quite long compared to my normal size. I had to order down a full size.

I really like the boot l 'd buy another pair for sure Specially if the heal was a little taller or a stacked heal , but all in all a very well put together boot very comfortable rite out of the box , the size/width we're on the money. Thank you.

I like wearing half-boots, rather than shoes, but they aren't easy to find these days. My last pair lasted only a year and weren't made well. These boots are, and they are unbelievably comfortable, which I haven't experienced with boots in a very long time. And of course, they look great. Highly recommended.

This is a nice boot. Gentlemen with a narrow foot need a more narrow shoe, say in B width, which is not offered in any boots and in few shoes. My heel slipped when put on to raise a blister.

Comfortable and lightweight

The leather is soft and pliable, the interior lining is comfortable and the sole is grippy and cushions your steps. I love these boots!

Nice boots. Easy fit from the box. Looks good. My only issue is the black dye rubs off easily. I applied a leather protectorant on them and I noticed much of the black polish or stain came off onto the polishing cloth. I fetl like that was a bit weak as a spray on dye that didn't adhere well to the leather. Otherwise, very nice boots and I hope they wear many years for me.

Highly recommended. Beautiful dress boots. Very comfortable for first wearing.

The one thing I would change is I would add the pull on assist loop that is on the Norwalk boot. If you have knee or back problems the loop is a must.

Leather on the head started to break down with holes because of improper fit. Otherwise comfortable.

I have been wearing Florsheim since I was a child when my mother would tske me to the local show store and I could see my toes wiggling in the xray machine. I am now in my eighties. I can no longer see my toes wiggle in my shoes but I don't have to. The fit is so perfect that I just order the tyle I want in my usual size and I know that the shoes will look great and fit perfectly.

I bought these is both colors! Fingers crossed the zippers work for several years to come. HIGHLY recommended!!!
