I've worn older Florsheim ankle boots with a uniform for a particular fan club, and my feet have been miserable. Even with the correct size for my feet, the leather and wood sole with little or no rubber and the lack of room for any insole made those boots unbearable by the end of the day. After accidentally wrecking the last pair I had in a door, I discovered Florsheim makes brand new boots, so I tried the Midtown boots. I can tell y'all, the difference is night and day! The brand new Midtown boots are very comfortable to walk in! The rubber sole works great on tile floors, they're nicely padded around the ankles, and there's room for your insoles! These newest generation boots are the best to come from Florsheim! No more used boots off of eBay for me!

The quality like the 1980's is not there , I loved my Florsheim back then , when you took them to China you made a mistake, I do like them but there quality

I've had Florsheim shoes before buying this pair. I needed a wide width. It was funny though because the brand size chart told me to buy an 11 M, when I needed and a 9 W. Still, great boots and worth it to resole when necessary.

Perfect fit right out of the box. Received compliments the first time I wore them.
