I have been wearing Florsheim since I was a child when my mother would tske me to the local show store and I could see my toes wiggling in the xray machine. I am now in my eighties. I can no longer see my toes wiggle in my shoes but I don't have to. The fit is so perfect that I just order the tyle I want in my usual size and I know that the shoes will look great and fit perfectly.

Some of the best work boots I’ve had. Like wearing supple leather socks. Light and flexible, yet awesomely comfortable for walking. Now my go to boot for winter operations. (Airline Pilot)

Very comfortable shoes, but zero arch support. I ordered my regular size and use a 3/4 arch support. Fit is good. Boots are soft leather and look good with jeans. Easy to get off and on.

Nice looking boot. Grippy sole. Definitely at least a half size larger than stated. Arch support is a little less than moderate. Soft leather. Comfy right out of the box.

Excellent fit and great comfort. I have difficulty in getting my size, fitting without being hurt but this shoe is the best.

I had a pair very similar to these when I was a kid in high school, 40 something years ago. Then, I was labeled either a geek or a freak, can't say I remember which one exactly, largely in part due to those shoes. That kind is now in his 60's and playing Santa Claus at a local homecoming parade. I ordered these from another company but had flashbacks once I slipped into them. They were comfortable then; they are still comfortable. My foot felt wrapped in a leather pillow. Just what I was looking for. Plus, the retro look isn't bad when worn with jeans. With shoes like this, Florsheim will make the 70's cool again! (As a side note, I normally wear a wide fit, but this was only available in a regular 14. I was concerned about the fit, but as others here have mentioned, they do run a tad big).

My feet measure 12.5 on the gage you see at shoe stores. My width is right on the line between D (normal) and E (wide). My instep is higher than normal. Sometimes I wear a 12 sometimes a 13. If the shoe has a wide option I often can wear a 12 wide. If I wear boots it has to be a wide or they will be too tight over the instep. Some boots require a 13 wide just so I can slide them on. I tried these boots first in a 12 D (normal) because the wide was not available. They were long enough but too tight over the instep. Later I was able to get a 12 3E, which is “extra wide”. They are definitely wider. They are slightly wider than I really need but not so wide to be a problem. Overall I like the look and feel of the boots. The leather is soft and comfortable out of the box. I hope they are durable.
