This is a great backpack overall. Only reason it didn’t get a 5 star on everything are my picky personal things. I was hoping it would be wider not deeper. It is so deep that if you are gonna get into it a lot, which I was with 3 children, it was difficult to find what I needed quickly. But, I would recommend it if you live a slower pace life than I do. It is beautiful and I got tons of compliments

I looked high and low for a bag that could excel as both a travel bag and a work bag. The Sherpani Tempest is a winner! This bag accompanied me on two weeks of international business travel, transitioning seamlessly from airline "personal item," to carrying my large laptop to work on the train, to day bag while touring the city. I have used it in every possible configuration (short strap shoulder bag, long strap shoulder bag, backpack) and it holds a surprising amount, comfortably. I get compliments on it all the time, too! Even though I am back home, this continues to be my day to day bag. The materials and build are durable. My one complaint would be the top zipper. It does not zip very smoothly, especially when the bag is full. Otherwise, I love it!

This is the best bag I have carried in a long time! It is very easy to transition from shoulder bag to backpack. The overall function and look of this bag is outstanding.

I had been eyeing this bag for well over a year - finally took the plunge. What a well made, quality bag. This is my second Sherpani and I can’t speak highly enough of this brand. I bought this in natural and it’s a really pretty tan/khaki. I was worried it would be lighter, thus showing dirt, but it’s a nice golden color. The versatility and options for wear is great! Love the concept and the execution is spot on. For those who like small bags, this is definitely not a small bag, but if in need of the space and functionality, very much worth the purchase!! Would strongly recommend.

Who doesn't love throwing on a backpack and forgetting what you are lugging around? I LOVE that this bag is adorable but then it converts to a backpack - who knew?!?!!! I love it. I have used it for travel and also just around town when I want to be hands free. GREAT bag and GREAT purchase!

Love this bag! I use it more in backpack mode than tote but love how easily it converts between the two. It’s comfortable to carry and stylish.

Love this bag, I get compliments all the time on it. Very versatile since it can be used as a bag and a backpack. Easy to stay organized with the color of the inside lining and all the pockets. Usually larger bags are harder to keep organized but not with this one. Great buy!

This bag is awesome! Great for travel and everyday use. There are multiple pockets that are easy to get at and to stay organized in a larger bag. Love the style, color and versatility. It can also be a backpack! Fabric is easy to keep clean too. A must for spring break!!

I’m giving this bag another try because it’s so functional and beautiful. My first one ripped in a few days but Zappos customer service is great and we got it handled and I reordered another one! It’s so great that it can function as a backpack and great when traveling with kids!

Love the durability and flexibility of this bag. I am a teacher and am always carting things around. It could be a bit wider for my laptop, but it does fit if I don't have a lot of other things inside. But overall love the different compartments, color scheme and wash-ability!!
