This bag is extremely sturdy---the handles are battle=proof. Maybe they look flimsy, but they are NOT at all. I've been using mine daily and for travel for a couple of years now, and it looks like new. The fabric doesn't fray, you can wipe of any marks with a moist cloth, and it's very comfortable to wear. Can use as a backpack, a cross-body, or a handbag. water proof, theft proof (the top zipper has a little "security loop" to prevent thieves from easily getting inside while you are wearing it). The proof is in the use. Maybe another consumer thought it "looked" flimsy, but it is the exact opposite. I liked it so much I have it in two colors, and I travel with it extensively.

I like the bag in general - but the back pack straps are not good because the extra strap flops around. When I use the top handles the extra strap drags on the ground. I don't know if I can fix this myself or if I will have to return it.

I ordered several bags from Zappos to try and find the right one. Not only is this the perfect bag, Zappos made it so so easy to get them, check them out, find the right one, and return the others.

This bag was almost perfect for my OCD self. It is stylish, has strong handles, but most importantly for me, it has the over-the-luggage-handle feature I was most hoping for. However, I found the bag to be too narrow in depth for what I want to carry when I travel. In addition, it is a bit too padded for me. This could be a great bag for someone, but not for me so I will be returning it.

The "Fig" color is very nice. The style is excellent - can be a backpack or a tote bag. However "Sherpani Soleil" is not quite big enough for my carry-on items for airline trips. The measurements sounded perfect, but the quilted fabric takes up some of the space so interior room is limited. Too bad, because I really like the "convertible" feature. So sorry to have to return this bag!

The front outer pocket is handy. The totebag is heavy (due to the RFID feature) - even when empty. The interior space is only big enough for a rolled-up sweater or light jacket plus a small purse. I am not a "backpack person" - so if the straps are stuck down into the back pocket, then there is no room for anything else. Nor would the owner be able to use the tunnel feature to hang it onto one's roller bag. The photo on the website is nice, but the totebag is going back to the warehouse.

Really surprised by this bag. It's the perfect size, color and weight. So many options to wear it and very very comfortable as a handbag, laptop bag AND a travel bag. I was concerned the material would be cheap looking, but it's VERY nice.

This is a PERFECT bag for those who want a backpack for around the town. It is way too big to be used as a cross body purse.

I absolutely love this bag! It's extremely versatile to use as a backpack, or simply take the shoulder strap off, and use as a handbag. The material is super sturdy and comes in great colors! It has two outside side pockets perfect for my water bottle. The inside is spacious and has lots of little pockets perfect for pens, lipstick and keys. I also love the zippered pocket on the outside! So many uses - I use mine everyday!

I love this bag. The material is very sturdy and I like how there are 3 different ways to carry the bag. I am using it as my teacher school bag and I like that there are pockets on the outside for me to put things in as well.

I love the Soleil bag!! I have it in storm and have received so many compliments! I have a 4 year old and 7 year old, so I don't need diaper bags anymore, but do carry around a lot of stuff for them. This bag is perfect! It's cute and stylish, but also has so much room and different compartments for all of my things and theirs. I usually carry it as a backpack and find it to be really comfortable. I highly recommend it:-)

This bag is wonderful!!! I use it for work and there's so much space!! Keeps everything neat and easy to find!! The strap options are nice!! Over the shoulder or backpack style !! Also attaches to my luggage handle!!! So convenient!!!!

I received this bag as gift. I find it very versatile and convenient. I use it for work and travel and keeps me organized with all the compartments. It protects my laptop and the material make it easy to clean.

I love how chic this bag looks. It's super roomy, and has great quality. I like that you can either hold it by the handles, on your back like a backpack, or over your shoulder. It's very versatile.

I am kind of surprised at the review that said this was cheap looking. Quite the contrary. It's a daily school bag and works amazing. I love the adjustable straps for when my bag is a bit full, and there is just the right amount of pockets. Perfect for laptop. I have it in black and other teachers love. Great bag.

I love this backpack except after a few months (for $100) the handles are frayed and I rarely use the handles. Customer service is great but nothing they could do but did give me a $30 gift certificate. May have cobbler make new handle.

This bag is definitely functional but not as sturdy as I would have liked.

for the price, this is a cheap looking bag. handles are really cheap plastic and don't look like they would last at all. I am returning this.
