sneaker was recommended by my foot doctor for plantar fasciitis, flare up was not going away with treatments, I was pleasantly surprised that the sneakers have made a big difference, not the most attractive shoe to wear for work and expensive but given the pain I was having it is worth it,

I have an issue with my big toe hurting when it flexes too much. This shoe has a stiffer toe box and is perfect. My toe has not hurt at all since I started wearing these for my run/walks and around the house as well. They also have great cushion and stabilization overall, and my husband loves Hoka shoes because of that. I wanted a little extra arch support and so changed out the insoles, but the provided arch support would be plenty for most people. On the down side, they are really unattractive to my eye! But the comfort is sooo worth the look.

These fit true to Hoka One One. I took my normal Hoka size. This shoe is a no nonsense cushioned shoe that protects your feet. I have enough room for my full length cushioned orthotics in a B width. Unfortunately, these are being discontinued along with all the other wonderful shoes Hoka was known for like the Valor. This is the last of the true Hoka cushioned shoes, so stock up if you can find your size. The new Hoka models are a lot firmer and have less cushioning.

Best shoe I’ve ever had!!

I am a UPS driver in Wisconsin. I cannot believe how well the leather has held up! I am purchasing a second pair now. I also own several pairs of running shoes in this brand. So happy they make black leather!

I teach fitness classes three to six hours a day - usually love Hoka's for their cushiony support but these broke down within three weeks of wearing - the top portion of the sneaker is very wobbly and I find myself feeling like I am on very high heels with no support.

Interesting to read that another person has pain in the big toe when the toe flexes too much. I have osteo necrosis in my big toe in the right foot and it hurts when it flexes as well. This shoe takes care of that problem. It provides a lot of stability for all of the toes and the arch. The shoes look bulky they actually feel light when you wear them. This is my third pair. I use them for light walking on asphalt and light trail walking and they hold up really well given the amount of miles I put on them. Despite being leather, they have a good deal of breathability especially important in the hot Arizona desert I walk in. I will continue to buy this shoe in the future. I have recommended it to 3 friends, all of whom bought a pair and they all love this shoe.

They do look like clodhoppers. And I could have coped with that. But the soles are just completely stiff and that doesn’t work for me. They are very cushioned by the way. Fit was the same as my Elevon

I did not keep these because I bought them for work with a black uniform and the soles have a LOT of light gray. Also the insole does not feel soft. The size of the sole doesn't bother me because I knew what to expect. I have had rocker like soles before and love them. I simply cannot have all that gray that doesn't show well in the photos.

First of all, I wanna say thank you “Hoka” for making such an excellent shoes! So comfortable, cute and so light feels like I didn’t wear anything at all! And also thank you Zappos for the very fast shipping! Buying more Hoka pretty soon! Loving it!?

Fit and size are great! I have 9w hoka bondi tennis shoes..that was right after foot surgery....I also purchased recovery sandals (flip flop style)...PHENOMENAL!!!..but I needed a pair of shoes for cooler, wet climate. These leather shoes kind of remind me of “nun” shoes but the comfort is so easy I am over the look. I prefer the rocker cushion...which may be difficult for some...but it cushions, supports & directs my foot correctly. At the end of day...my feet feel great! ..no pain & no fatigue. The quality is great. I will probably waterproof as I live in PA. Great Shoe!
