I love these! They're the most comfortable shoes I've purchased in a while. I'm 34, so I want shoes that look trendy and age-appropriate, but I have way too many foot problems for someone my age, so I usually have a tough time! These are very attractive - they look is definitely in - and I got the gold color, which looks great. The fit is fantastic -- there is so much cushioning!! In addition, the front of my feet are wide, but my heels and ankles are narrow, which usually complicates things for me, but these happen to fit well at both points! They're a very nice leather, which doesn't put any uncomfortable pressure anywhere on my feet. Anyway, I try on LOTS of shoes to find things I like (I keep waiting for Zappos to blacklist me...), and these were such a good find! (I don't normally write reviews, either, but I felt I had to in this case!)

I LOVE these shoes. They are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. No breaking in issues at all. I bought this pair, then a green/black pair and I’m getting ready to buy a sequin pair in all black. If you have feet issues like plantar fascialis or metatarsal issues, these are the shoes for you. I’ve walked 12 solid hours in these shoes in Europe and still they felt great. I just want them to add some new styles and colors so I can buy more!

This shoe is wide so that if you have a narrow heel, your foot will slip right out of it.

This shoe was perfect from the moment I took it out of the box. Perfect in fit, comfort, style, looks, quality, color, etc. I love FitFlops and I own several sandals and clogs. This is the first completely closed in style i have tried. It looks narrower than their usual footwear but is super comfortable, with plenty of room for all my toes. Just ordered another pair in black.

I loved these shoes as soon as I tried them on. However, they are too much like another pair I already own to justify keeping them. The others I really enjoy. They give energy to my step every time I put them on. This sale price makes them a good deal for some other lucky person.

Like the other reviewers, I love these shoes. I am new to the Fit Flop brand, but these are wonderful. I am looking into other colors (I got the black snake). I am in my 40's but have some foot problems so am always looking for comfortable shoes with enough arch support. I used to like Ecco a lot, but they seem to be making them more narrow. I also feel the Fit Flop are reasonably priced. As a plus, they make my feet look smaller!

Love the shoe but the lizard looked silvery on line but definitely had a greenish tone. Kept them anyway and reordered in the black!

When you've bought three pairs of this shoe for yourself -- gold, silver and, now black -- and also bought it as a gift three times (gold and silver), do you need to even say that it's fabulous? It's phenomenally comfortable, but dressier than an athletic shoe by a lot, and so easy to just slip on and off (like in the TSA line, so it's a great travel shoe). The slight elevation at the back makes it much, much more comfortable and stylish than the hundreds of other "flat" soled versions that are on the market, and the arch support is so great that it can be worn forever. Another great travel feature is that these shoes are feather light and can be "mashed" in a suitcase without effect. Be aware that this shoe runs about 1/2 size large, so order down.

Super comfortable, might be the best pair of shoes I've ever tried right out of the box. The shape is definitely different than I normally go for. Normally I wear Dr Martens or the Fitflop Gogh or Shuv , so I'm used to a more boxier rounded toe. It felt like walking on air! I got a 7.5 and they are definitely a little big, but I'm sure if I went down to a 7 they might be a little too tight. For reference I wear 7s in the fitflop flip flops, and I wear 8 in the Shuv/Gogh style (For some reason those I need a whole size bigger). The embossed snake patter looks really nice too, give a nice subtle interest to it without screaming snake skin.

These shoes are super comfortable as well as being stylish. I had a broken bone in my foot for a while and have needed comfort, but I never like to sacrifice style and I'm definitely not one to wear athletic shoes. These definitely fill the bill. I'm hard to fit - have a narrow foot, and these work, though they are a teeny bit wide. Look great with skinny jeans.

Extremely comfortable right from the start; I have been wearing FitFlop sandal shoes for a few years and I am happy that these closed toe shoes are every bit as comfortable.

Great pair of shoes! Bought them for a trip to Europe and they are terrific. Walked over six miles in them yesterday and my feet felt great. Highly recommend these shoes for walking and they look decent enough for dinner out at a nice restaurant.

These shoes are unbelievably comfortable. I was hesitant to order them and then let them sit a while because I have a high instep and was afraid it would pinch up there. Now that the weather is cooling off, decided to give them a try. SO glad I did.

I ordered these for a winter trip to Walt Disney World. Right out of the box they were comfortable. I feel like I am walking on really thick sponges. I wear a 6 and these were a true fit. Not roomy at all. Considering purchasing other colors for the trip. I have a very hard time finding comfortable closed toe shoes - I live in FitFlop sandals almost year round. When I saw that FitFlop had a closed toe shoe, I had to try it. I am so pleased!

I have been looking for a comfortable shoe in this style for many years. These are perfect in every way!! I've worn Fitflop flip flops for years and love them. But I haven't had much luck with Fitflop shoes until these. They are so comfortable with so much support. I've worn them three days in a row and my feet are happy!! Thank you Fitflop and Zappos!!!

I needed some good walking shoes for our trips and these shoes are very comfortable. However, I have a narrow heel and they are too wide and slip when I walk Therefore I am returning them.

This shoe is a great shoe. I like the closed toe. Comfortable, except the heel is not as high as typical Fit Flop sandals. Heel height was not shown on website. Heel is about 1 inch and Fit Flop sandals are closer to 1 1/2 inches which I need for a low back issue.

This is my second pair of FitFlops. I must say that I agree with the other reviewers...there is an unusual amount of heel slippage with this brand. I also own the ballerina flat and while there is some heel slippage with that style, I couldn't tolerate the problem with this shoe. I hate to say it, but this shoe is not very pretty. I can't really describe it as leather as it almost looks synthetic. I will need to return these shoes.

Comfortable shoe. More well-cushioned than good arch support. Wore them for a full day of errands and, surprisingly, I had no foot fatigue. I like the look of the shoe. It'll go with jeans and when I travel it will serve as a 'dressier' shoe with slacks when we go to dinner.

Wonderful light-weight leather slip-ons. But unfortunately, my left heel slips when walking. I take an 8B (medium) and they are comfy and run true to size...except for the heel. Sadly, they go back

Oh--how I wanted these shoes to work for me!! I have a ton of fitflop sandals and a pair of their shiny ballet flats (the latter are extremely cute, but murder on the heel--moleskin is a MUST) and I appreciate their comfort for someone with extremely flat feet and plantar issues that demand support. These shoes are ADORABLE and felt very comfortable as I was walking around in the house, but the sizes don't work for me. I originally ordered my usual (an 8) and the heel slipped severely when walking, so, thanks to the amazing Zappos customer service and lightning fast shipping, I was able to get a 7.5 right away. Unfortunately, those just feel too cramped and I worry they will be uncomfortable. Real shame, because these shoes are simply adorable and look perfect for spring. I'm jealous of people with the proper foot sizing!!
