The boot feels a bit more like a slip on rubber duck boot than a true work boot. Aggressive sole but too flexible for extended hiking.

What a shame. As a sculptor working around welding environments I was so hopeful for these since Dr. Martens stopped selling their steel toe Chelsea. Unfortunately, these are so crazy uncomfortable. They hit the arch in a weird and uncomfortable way and after a couple of hours the top of my foot is actually in pain. I had hoped that what they lacked in looks was made up by the claims of comfort and durability. After just the first day they had scuffs and a few weeks in the soles are showing wear already. I really regret buying these.
