My 8 yr old son loves these, he had the pants and top with half way zipper , skiing in the East, brutal cold and did not complain. Now the S is too small so buying M size for next year!

My son loves how soft and warm it is. Snug fit which is perfect for a base layer.

My kids LOVE their smart wool base layers. All of the benefits of wool (no smell, wonderful wicking) without the itch. After one wash, these are soft and cozy. They have held up well to wear and tear with no loss of their shape and no pilling (we wash in cold and line dry). Our oldest pair have been handed down from big sister to little brother and still look great. This top is a good cut that fits nicely (not too tight, not too baggy, enough length in the sleeves to keep their wrists warm). The fabric has enough weight (and the cut is slightly shaped) so they don't bunch up and create cold spots. We love these SO much better than any poly-pro type layer we've ever had. We prefer the zip neck for a little extra warmth when it is blowing and cold, and it also allows easy ventilation when they start to heart up or during warmer spring skiing. This top and the matching bottom are without a doubt, my favorite "go to" items every year, I'm always glad to see them when we pack for a ski trip. Many thanks for a great product!

Skiing, ice fishing, even a cold day at school, Jack always goes with his zip T for layer one. And he loves the flexibility to turn down the heat with his zip.

My daughter wears this only for skiing. They are warm and comfortable and even when she sweats they help absorb and ventilate it. Strongly recommend! #sweepstakes

I bought this in red because I had one in black, that for a petite woman was perfect. One of those "why did they change that?!" moments resulted when I put it on. It smaller (tighter) than the black one from several years ago-both in the body and the sleeves. It is still comfortable, just not 5 star like the first one.

My grandson loves this pullover. He is an slim average size 10 yo, but takes a XL (14-16). It runs a bit small, particularly in the length.

Size chart said XL should fit a youth aged 13-14. My son is 12 and this fit like a small in him. Sadly disappointed

Sadly, the sizing on this was much, much too small. Typical high quality fabrics and construction from Smartwool, but the sizing for my kids (9, 11 and 13) was so off I had to return. Only really could work for younger kids.

Bought 4 in XL for ski season and all have different sleeve lengths, about 1.5 inch difference between the longest and shortest sleeve. I will be returning one.

The color and style are beautiful. However, the fabric started to peel after one wear. The quality is not as solid as previous purchases.

I bought this product last year for my grandson size small, I repeat the same punches this year Size (Medium), but I found the fabric hand feel is very different. The new purchase has a much dryer hand feel, and it started to peel after wearing it three times. It is not as soft as the previous one as well. I preferred smart wool over an icebreaker brand because of its softness and superior wool quality, but now I am doubtful.

I bought this for my average sized 12 year old granddaughter. I got an XL so that she could grow into it. Sadly, it was so tight and small that she couldn't get it on easily and the sleeves were 3-4 inches shorter than needed. It was as if someone had owned it before and shrunk it. She was very sad!
