I purchased this kids' wool base layer hoping it would fit me (sometimes the larger kids sizes fit me best) but it was a little small. Other than that, it was soft and warm and felt good. If I had a "kid" who could wear it I definitely would have kept it!

Instead of buying matching cotton PJs we went with matching sets of these wool tops/bottoms. The winter design looks so cool up close.

Really can't recommend these enough, my kids have been using them for the past 8 years through all the sizes. Used from skiing to summer hiking (Iceland)

Great base layer. Excellent fit and super warm. Try them. These are the only base layer for my my family of ski racers!

Very nice base layer for running. As a petite women, the chest, sleeve length and shirt length are perfect for me in a kids size large. The color is pretty and has a bit of stretch. But since I washed it in cold water it has shrunk about half a size so now it is a bit snug.

I am a small woman, and I've found that a kid's XL fits me better than a woman's size Small in the Merino wool base layer shirt. So now I've bought several of them in different colors. They are soft, warm, and wick well. They are machine washable and dryable, which is convenient.

I just don't know, stores need to stop asking for reviews right after purchase. Seems, warm, thick and soft. I hope it is durable.

Super warm and thin. Wears great under a rain jacket!

I have these for both my kids, and they both love it because it kept them warm even on a blustery ski day. However, one of my child's skin is more sensitive and she wouldn't wear it directly on her skin. She always wear a thin tech layer underneath the smartwool baselayer. These baselayer held up very well, still have plenty of life left after 2 ski seasons (bought them a little big, and they stretch very well). We ski, snowshoe, and hike in them.

It was quite small compared to similar purchases and disappointed that xl, was not xl with this purchase. I am not wanting to purchase any more, as it was a cost to ship them back.

I initially bought my 13-year-old a size large, which was ridiculously small. I exchanged them for an XL (which, based on the size chart should fit), and it was still way too small. I guess I'll have to look in adult sizes for him on this one.

Bought an XL for my son who's 11, 59in tall, 26in waist, 30in chest, and sleeves are already a couple inches too short. Shirt itself is also short. Going by the size chart this was supposed to be oversized for him if anything. Either I received a wrongly sized item, or smartwool sizing is way off, or, and I hope that's not the case, smartwool is trying to save on cost by shrinking the product.
