I bought 32x34 for 6'2" 175 son and they fit great. Athletic fit tapers from the lower thigh to ankle which makes them look more fitted. I was concerned they'd have too baggy of a look but they don't. I'd definitely buy again.

The fit is as close to perfect as I have found and are very comfortable. I will be buying more in the future.

I have bigger thighs and hate baggy fitting pants - slim and classic fit have always been too tight, relaxed fit way too baggy. These are perfect for me: comfy on the thighs with a fitted look from the knees down. I bought a pair in every color and they've been holding up very well over time.

If you're like me and enjoy good meals, but the waistline needs a bit of spare room, these slacks are for you.

I'm post middle aged but in great physical condition. The athletic fit in size 35" is perfect for me, but 35" almost never available in stores. Waist fits, athletic cut gives a little more room though butt and upper legs. Nice taper at the hem without looking too "hipster". Only negative is the black color seems to fade easily. The other colors wash and wear very well.

I never felt comfortable in Khakis until I found these. Finally some room in the thighs, not too loose or tight around the calves, and flexibility when squatting down. Best of all, they actually hold up to continued washing with VERY minimal shrinking (I 'm probably just getting slightly fatter). On that note, the "stretch" characteristic allows for a decent amount of weight gain/loss without having to get different sizes. That's a huge advantage to someone like me who gains/loses weight constantly. I wear 36x32 and these fit true to "American" size for me.

I bought these pants for my son who has quite an athletic build and these fit him perfectly! So good in fact ordered them in Khaki too, black is out of stock in his size.

I'm very pleased with the fabric and fit. With tapered legs becoming fashionable now. I'm replacing my old pleated dockers with these.

I bought a few pairs of these in black for work and they have been great. I've been wearing them for about 4 months and since the start they have been soft and durable. Not dress pants by any means, but they fit much better than regular dockers or most khakis. Regular dockers are too baggy for me and most chinos like jcrew are anorexic these days. These are a little tapered from the knee down with enough room in the thighs to move comfortably without being snug. Waist is true to size, but they run a little on the shorter side. Very good for the price.

I'm not a big Dockers guy but I like these. I went with the black in my usual size, 31 x 32, and they fit true to size. I'm 5'11" 165 athletic build and they're a tapered fit without being too slim on me. They're also not too baggy like regular Dockers fit. The 32 length runs a little short like Jcrew pants which I like so they hit just at the top of my shoes.

I am a 36x36 so of course I ordered a 36x36. The fit around my waist was great but the pant length was way too short. It looks like I am wearing flood pants. So if you're on the taller side like me I'd recommend ordering one size length longer. Other than that, they are comfortable and stylish.

I, like many others, have been looking for the perfect pair of pants to fit a build with small waist, large butt and thighs. This style is unfortunately not the one. While it certainly has more room than D1 and has added stretch to accommodate moving around, they are not suited for more muscular/athletic builds. If I buy my normal size, the Athletic Tapered fit is nearly skin tight on my butt, thighs and calves. I can move around in them without discomfort but you can easily see the outline of the pockets and of my boxer briefs. Sizing up 1 helps, but naturally the waist becomes too large. This experience lines up with all my other experiences with "athletic fit" clothing. They don't go extreme enough with the cut, such as chest to waist drop, or waist to thigh width, and so some of us have to resort to tailoring. As for the quality and construction, it's about what you expect from this price range and from Dockers. I have nothing to complain about there. I recommend trying these out anyway, but I wouldn't get your hopes up if you haven't had luck with other athletic fits in the past. These are not groundbreaking pants.

Athletic fit? Runs more like a Slim Fit. Why you need more information just to complete this questionare is crazy

First these pants are poor fitting. The athletic Fit fits fine and as expected in the waist and thigh. However, the leg opening is too wide and the inseam was too short. I own a couple of pairs of the Alpha athletic Fit pants and they fit great so I was looking at there as a comparison. In addition, the fabric used on these is of poor quality. They have a sheen to them, which makes them look and feel cheap. I purchased the black pair and they collect lint like crazy.
