Somehow these boots are disappointing compared to a similar pair of Timberland boots I had that are 17 years old and needed replacement. Rather than old fashioned durable leather it is thin nubuck leather over a synthetic layer that feels stiff and plastic-like. They are OK and functional but not as good, not the same feel as the old ones. What changed? Also shoe laces are too thin not long enough for a heavy boot.

I got the beef and broccoli color field boot they're very comfortable and look good but the soles are made out of poor materials they're literally bald after 5 months. You don't get your moneys worth

Love the lightweight feel and the fact that they are waterproof. However, the quality control or lack thereof, took away from this boot. There is a huge stain on the top of the left boot that looks like it is stained within the leather instead of on the leather. And with suede, it's a hit or miss on trying to get that type of stain out without discoloring the area. Since I got these at a great price, I will have to live with the stain. I may attempt to remove it and redye the area. The fit is great although I could have went down to an 11, since my size in Timbs are 11, but I wasn't sure about the Field Boot fit. So anyone wondering about the fit of these: get the usual size you normally wear in Timbs which is usually a full size down (I wear a 12 in sneakers and an 11 in Timbs) and if you want a little wiggle room then you go a half size down. Hope this helps!

Bought this as a gift for my husband to work in. He usually wears tims to work he has the same pair for 2 plus years. I thought this would be a comparable design. Unfortunately as stylish as these boots are they are uncomfortable. Tongue is rubbing against ankle. An these shoes that I thought would replace my Husband's old work boots was a waste such a shame. I was excited about these!

I sent the boots back. They were for my son for Christmas.I was told I couldn't exchange the boots until the large ones arrived to their previous place. Now I will have to purchase them again.I really don't think he will have them in time for Christmas.I included the return note with a note that I wanted them exchanged for a smaller size. Why can't you do that instead of having someone purchase them again.I am very disappointed. The fact you are in Canada doesn't make it easier.

Waterproof boot. Was good when new. However the sole and heel has become hard and extremely slippery. Was soft and had great traction when new. I would not buy again. I'm disappointed, I've used Timberland exclusively for decades.

I love timberland besides the fact that they are not waterproof I stood in. 4 inch puddle for 3 min and it soaked through I even put mink oil on it a couple times and that seemed to help a bit so not to bad now

I have worn this White Ledge 8W boot for 20 years and they have been a perfect fit. I recently got another pair of 8W and couldn't get my feet in them. So I got 8.5W and I have had to use a boot stretcher.

These boot are really uncomfortable around the ankles. They are not very durable either. After wearing them for only a couple days, there are visible scuff marks at the toes on both shoes. Do not recommend.

I bought these boots to replace another pair of Timberlands that were defective before the 12 year warranty expired (the classic 6 inch waterproof boots, which also developed holes in the soles after about 8-9 months). I have other shoes that I have owned for 2-3 years and I wear almost as often and the soles are perfectly fine! It seems that Timberland's reputation as a fashionable and durable boot does not live up to the hype. Buy them if you want to look pretty, but I do not recommend these boots if you plan on wearing them regularly, in the snow, or for work. Sure they look fine, but they do not last!

These are some nice looking boots. Unfortunately the top part of the tongue of the boot kept rubbing against my foot. This made then uncomfortable. I think it was because the tongue is completely attached to the boot unlike other shoes where the top of the tongue is seperated from the boot.

Barley lasted 2 years without the sole undoing itself from the leather. The sole still got alot of thread left too but its looking like the whole sole is going to unglue itself. I bought boots from here and it used to last me years without the boot sole coming off. These are looking like it'll come off in half a year. I will be looking for a different brand of work/hiking boot since the quality has dropped.
