Customer Reviews Timberland Field Boot F/L Waterproof

I ordered several pairs of work boots for my 19 year old son who is beginning work as an hvac apprentice. These were among the ones recommended on an hvac website. The others all failed the squatting down bent toe test, the normal position for inspecting a furnace. These were comfortable right out of the box and had the required flexibility. I was skeptical when he wore them to work the next day, thinking they would need to be broken in but no, he was comfortable all day. He has owned many different hiking boots over the years, as an Eagle Scout and avid backpacker, but says these are the best yet. Walking on wet roofs with deep puddles they stay dry. I tend to think of timberland as primarily a style over function brand, but not these. They are great looking but out performed the other work boots. He already ordered an extra pair. Hope they keep making these.
