These will take a little breaking in. I’m in between UK 4 and UK 5. I kept the 5 so will have to wear thicker socks. But I think these have a modern edge to the Docs I wore 25 years ago. Going to order another pair in a loafer style

As always Zappos delivers quick. I am the proud owner of these in the tanish brown color and black smooth color. I currently wear the tans ones a lot! I ordered them in a size 9 because that is what I am consistently in docs. Normal shoes I am between a 9 1/2 and a 10. I think with time, these will break in a bit. I just have to wear them more in small time allotments. Everywhere I go with them, I hear this, they look classy, cute, different. They are a great addition to my Doc Marten family!

I received these as a gift, and they look stunning, even cooler in person – I've gotten many compliments. Very comfortable too, though I'm still breaking in the top where it hits my ankle (that can get painful if you don't make sure to take a break from them every other day at first). I'd highly recommend these shoes if hey weren't out of stock!

Perfect ankle boot in the great Doc tradition. Love the weight of these shores. They fit a little small and narrow, which is usually not true of Docs. Usual breaking in time, too.
