These shoes are everything that I'd hoped they would be! Super cute, have the distinctive Doc Martin stitching on the sole, and as much as I love the heavy sole on the shoe and boot, I really appreciate the lightweight sole on this loafer. They are extremely comfortable, the only reason that I gave them a 4 on comfort is that I have extremely high arches and have to wear Superfeet insoles with anything that I wear for more than a few hours. It's too bad that I'll have to add insoles, because the comfort sole that they come with is really cushy! They do run a full size large. I always wear a size 8, ordered that and they were huge. Used Zappo's awesome return program, ordered the next full size down and perfection.

I wasn't sure before I saw them in person, but these are sweet! I can't put my finger on what it is exactly but it's like a "brushed up" classic Doc look. Yeah, they're comfortable, and who doesn't like the idea of slip on Docs? The cool of classic Docs, with the comfort of a loafer, and hint of slip-on Van youthfulness. Love these.

I’ve been wearing Dr Martens since my late 1990s teenagehood and well into adulting. I love them and always have. I’m also always a 9 women’s, but these feel big! I probably should have tried the smaller size but I didn’t even think about it, given my 18-odd year history with the brand. My heel slips a little. They also are tough to get on and off - a shoehorn would help! They’re a nice high quality loafer, masculine looking (obviously) and extremely practical and comfortable. I live in the Pacific Northwest, so they’re basically going to be on my feet October-March.

I have purchased many shoes in my 70 years on this planet. This shoe is by far the most comfortable lightweight shoe I have ever purchased. Great style, color goes well with any pair of slacks. What a terrific insole. Feels like you are walking on air. Great shoe if you are on your feet all day!

I am a women's US 7 wide width. I ordered these in Women's US 7/UK 5. I am always this size in women's doc martens and have two other doc martens that are both Women's 7/UK 5. These are definitely men's sizing as they run a full size larger. I went to exchange them for a US Women's 6/UK 4 but sadly they were out of stock. I say sadly as I know the size 6 would have been perfect. They are great quality shoes and look great. I also know they would have been perfect for my wide feet. If you wear women's sizing, I would recommend to size down one size.

Very cute and very comfortable. The leather is already nice and soft (so no super long break in period) and the foot bed is very cushy. The only problem is, I am normally a UK 5 in Dr Martens and they are at least half a size too big. I think if I went a whole size down they'd be a tiny bit snug. I'll have to find an insole or heel thing so the fit a little better. I'd definitely consider sizing down a size (though if they had halfs, I bet at 4.5 would be perfect (I love a little extra room). I didn't since the normal UK 5 can be a little snug on me, these definitely run a bit bigger. Otherwise very nice shoe.

Shoe seems to run a bit long. The tongue does come up a lot more than I expected. Extremely lightweight for a pair of Docs.

Upon receiving them I noticed the packing slip called them Dr Martens MEN'S Edison Loafer. I ordered the corresponding size for women's equivalent and they were way too long and wide. I exchanged for a size down and the length is better but still too wide. I normally wear a medium width shoe which tells me these are definitely for men.
