Love the product, the XL fits a little big

The vest was given by my kids. I loved the color and the fact that it's warm without being overly large. I did have to go down a size from XL-L. They had done the quiz to figure out what size but I still needed one size down. The XL was bulky enough to put a sweatshirt under but around the ribs it was overly big. This will be an every day, run to the store, hike, projects on cool days type of vest.

Well made, stitching and fit is nice. Purchased for my boyfriend, he's 5'7" and about 170 lbs with broad shoulders. Ordered a medium but fit closer to a large and was a little on the longer side, vest ended about 4-6 inches below the hips. All in all, perfect for someone with a longer torso, but suggest ordering a size down if you're on the thinner side and like a tighter fit.

I really enjoy the blue color option for this vest. It is warm, comfortable, stylish, but just a little oversized for me at the XL. It almost as if the anthropometric data charts used to design the XL size was off. Used it twice already but still enjoy dressing up with it or dressing casually.

Was a gift for my brother. Loved the color. Looks great on him. Have since bought three other items.

Winters in Texas are the weirdest. Cold enough where you gotta get ride of the sandals, but warm enough where having all out snow gear is too much and to hot. This synthetic down vest is perfect for tha balance and is great used as much as possible. Wear it with everything from the office to fishing a chilly river in my waders. Love the product and sizing was accurate. I did have an almost identical vest from a few years back that I decided to wash and all of the down was matted from tiny holes in the vest, sent it in with my complaint and without any questions asked recieved a gift card for the original value in my email. Great company that puts its money where it's mouth is and backs up their products quality

This is a fairly high quality vest, but looks like an absolute box on me with the relaxed fit. I am about 5 foot 11 170 lbs and it felt a little "baggy" on me. If you are looking for more of a slim fit vest then I would not recommend. However, it you prefer a more baggy fit then this is a good product.

I bought this for my son who is in college. When asked how he liked it, he stated, "It's awesome!" He likes that it is "not puffy" like other down vests. The only issue is that the XL runs a little large, but not enough for me to exchange it.

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend and he loved it, he fits a size small and this runs slightly big on him. But over all it looked great.

Fashion to keep warm

Bought this for my son. He wears it everywhere. It is very versatile and looks great.

I love everything about this vest, except for one thing. In some places, feathers poke out. Other than that, this vest is perfect.

This is a great vest but it's not a puffy as I hoped it would be. "550 vs 700" down makes a difference.

purchased for my 16th birthday, have worn this almost everyday since! Works with everything, not too warm, and super stylish. Looks and feels exactly as advertised, love it, way to go NorthFace.

Very stylish and super warm vest. Size is perfect and zippers work great. The only con is that some tiny feathers come out through the fabric. I dont think that's normal

Great product! Very lightweight, warm and runs true to size with other north face items. However, my only complaint (and I'm not sure if other north face down jackets do this) is that quite a few down feathers come out of it every wear. Not a huge issue, just slightly annoying. Overall though, good product and reasonable price for what you get!

The size and quality were great - brought it for my nephew he loved it! Price was a little high

Ordered right before Christmas and it came in time! Was less "fluffy" than I thought but he still said it was really warm! Overall I would recommend it!

Received this vest as a gift and it turned out to be one of my favorites. Great fit, light weight and just right for a lot of northwest weather to keep you comfortable. The vest is nice looking so it can be worn with all types of outfits. Sometimes you pay for the brand name and sometimes you pay what you get for. In this case you get what you pay for with high quality.

The fit is to big.

Fit was fine, very comfy but I am an old timer used to jackets and vests with lots of loft. This has 550 down and is kind of lightweight and thin but I guess thats the style these days. I shopped around , found a North Face vest that had 800 fill for $179 and it was thicker and much more suited for very cold weather. That said I decided for my use maybe the Acontagua was fine for the dog walking and around town that I do in So Cal.

I purchased this vest using the support size guide, it mentioned I was L, so I thought the fitting would be a little big, so I went with it, and NO, it just feels huge, the product is great, but the fitting isnt the right one.
