As with the other Salewa footwear I've purchased, these Trektail hikers are very comfortable. Once you get situated and "strapped in" you'll see what I mean. They invoke confidence. And they are a great looking shoe. Lots of compliments. Built like a tank. I'm a bit of a shoe & equipment freak. I do my homework - and obviously Salewa is doing theirs.

Great fit and very comfortable. I find most shoes comfortable but these offer a step up, and it's noticeable. My Aslo, Merrel, or Scarpa shoes are all comfortable too, but Salewa seems to have it really dialed in.

after two months of extremely light wear...the sides split out. Bummer. La Sportiva is so much better in terms of durability and comfort. The extra money makes the difference

These were laughably big. Like clown shoes. Probably 2-3 sizes too big. I double-checked the size on the tongue because I thought I had been sent the wrong size at first. The other shoes I ordered at the same time fit perfectly.
