After trying on two other pairs of these boots, I finally got the fit I wanted the third time! The first pair did not arrive in an Ugg box ( the box had writing explaining that the original box got damaged in shipping) and the left boot leather was so soft that it already was flopping over the button . The second pair was better but they were too loose on the shaft, like the loop that goes around the button was too long. Thank goodness the third pair I tried were perfect and what I was expecting fit to be. I love Ugg boots, but there seems to be much variation in each pair of boots depending on sheepskin used and sometimes even how the boot is made. I guess it is unavoidable that there would be such variations, but such is life. I want to thank the Zappos customer service for their patience and easy return policy! They really do want their customers to be 100% happy with their purchase! They have a buyer for life!

Good comfort, good fit! I was attracted to them by their large button closure. The zipper broke and made useless my last two pair of expensive boots, although they were otherwise just fine. I will never buy zipper boots again! Maybe I'll buy tie boots, but not keen about the possibility of laces breaking and the time to tie them up. So hope this LARGE BUTTON works out! Thinking it can easily be fixed if there is a probem. I am very happy with the comfort, warmth, fit,and style of these boots!
