What a fabulous buy! I LOVE these boots. When selecting these uggs, I was concerned about the issues that other reviewers had raised - a decline in quality of the boot, the hit or miss sizing, etc. I decided to bite the bullet and get these boots (in chestnut) and just trust that if they are off in any way, Zappos will sort it out quickly and easily. Fortunately, these boots are BETTER than I imagined. Here are some points to consider. 1. I bought a size 7, even though I wear a size 7.5 in all other shoes. I already own a pair of ugg boots in 8, and I know how that feels (quite loose, if I am barefoot, but great with a thick sock and outside wear). These boots were intended as my home ugg slippers basically, so I wanted to wear them without socks and not to slosh around in all the extra space. 2. When the boots came, they were quote snug. Snug, but not uncomfortable or pinching in any way. The stitching across the top of the foot of the boot made it a bit of work to get the foot in, but I knew that it would get easer with time and as the fur matted down. I freaked out a little, but then reminded myself to trust the process. I have 8s and know that fit. I wanted my house uggs to be snugger. 3. Now after one week of wear around the house, the fit is great, the foot gets in with not much pulling on the boot (i have high arches, fyi). It does not slip in, I have to tug the boot up. That is fine by me because the fit inside is perfect - a little movement in the heel, lots of comfort and warmth in the toes. 4. The quality of these boots is fantastic! Definitely as good or maybe even better than my last pair of uggs from 2018. The quality is there! I did not look where these boots are made, and, frankly, who cares?! They are made beautifully. The bow details are gorgeous. Well done, Ugg. Well done, Zappos!
