I am a 24yo woman, athletic build and have bought a M in the women's denali jacket. The men's jackets on zappos offered more colors at a better price so I figured I'd try a men's S denali but unfortunately the shoulders were too big on me. Jacket quality is as expected, warm and sturdy.

Great jacket. The fit finder lead me to the XL when in fact, even the large is a little big. I wish there were inside pockets.

This version of Denali lost some key features, such as pit zips & elastic cuffs and the fleece is thinner than the original. IF TNF would put a waterproof, windproof outer shell with the original, it would definitely be the ultimate, but they didn't. Too bad. This is a "style" jacket, not a "technical" jacket.

I bought this jacket to replace a different men's Denali 2. My original Denali 2 was bought in 2016 and seemed to be disappointing compared to the polartech model. It was very light and not nearly as warm. However, when I purchased the Denali 2 in 2019, I noticed that the fabric used is completely different and much warmer and softer. The "water repellent" works ok but I didn't notice any change since the previous models. It's okay for light rain and snow but with heavy rain your jacket will absorb the water. I'm 100% satisfied with the new model of denali 2 and I would highly recommend this to anyone. I was skeptical that this model would also be disappointing but I was proven wrong. I consider myself to be VERY particular with every little detail including any lose threads, wrinkles, and zippers. This is the best North Face I own or have ever owned, including the polartech model. There are no pit zips but the comfort in the pit area improved as a result. I'd recommend getting this model if you were a fan of the polar tech model as it has much improved as of 2019.

The 1st North Face product I bought and won't be the last. I've seen this jacket everywhere and now I know why. This is really warm and comfortable for those cold days and big enough to wear a hoodie underneath.

It's a everyday jacket for me; whether it's going to work, to the supermarket or just walking the dog. It's versatile in all uses and applications. That's what I love about this jacket.

Bulky,great fabric but just too too for me. Prefer a soft shell. I would like to suggest to Zappos a more helpful fit guide since North Face's chart is not. Also require reviews to include their measurements like Backcountry does. It seems ALL the models on Zappos are 6' 1" with a 32" waist. I'm not, so I compromise and end up with jackets that just don't fit. If NF made M/L it would be great.

I work in surveillance and in a room with bunch of computer servers in the room. The room is literally 62 degrees all year long. I literally never take this jacket off. Sooo.... for some reason I keep thinking I'm a medium, but every time I get it, it's a little too big and end up getting a small. I'm a 5'5 Asian and weigh 150 average build. Honestly I could use the medium and the small I'm like right in that sweet spot. I just personally I like the small better. I wish there was like a olive green one tho... overall good daily jacket can't go wrong, really warm, perfect if you live in the north east where you get all the weathers in the same week! #NorthFace4Life

This is my second time buying this jacket, had the original which got burned. Glad the Denali 2 is as good as the first. Lightweight but very warm. I dislike bulky jackets so this is a staple for me.

I use it as a coat kn the winter to stay warm. it looks nice and it feels good!

Fits true to size and is made of quality materials

I normally wear large so I ordered large but these run a bit big, so order a size below your usual. Otherwise, this is great, I get compliments almost every time I wear this sweater. Its warm, the color stands out, it washes well and the material is quite good. I wear it quit often and washed it see no wear and tear. I def recommend.

Sons wear all the time

I had first bought a jacket like this when I was a freshman in high school. Five to six years later and I bought a new version of it, and it still feels great and is a great design overall. North Face is a truly great company, and I will be sure to buy from them in the future, and I will continue to recommend them to my friends and family. Overall, great purchase and overall great design!

Where it for everyday wear!

Great fit and style

I am 5'10",177lbs, 35in waist and the Large was too big on me. Ordered a Medium which was perfect. The older Denali's were smaller in the same sizes. I realized this when I got my Apex Bionic Medium which fit perfect as well. In the NF size chart I fortunately noticed they have the actual garment measurements when you click on "more" below the size chart which only has chest and hip measurements.

I used this jacket from the first cool days in autumn until the first warm days in late spring. I wore it everywhere. For the years that I owned it, it never once failed me. The zippers and fabric were as good when I lost it (*it was stolen) as it was when I purchased it more than 10 years ago. This is a 5 star product - amazing quality! KM

Love the simplicity of the jacket's look. Lightweight but great for fall weather.
