Hands down best jacket for its price and temperature rating out there. 10/10

This is my second of these jackets, the first was lost/stolen/left. I purchased this again because I really do like this jacket. my first was all black, this time I received the red stitching on black. The red is darker than it appears on the websites, which was a bit disappointing, but it still looks good.

This is the exact winter jacket I been looking for awhile. The fitting on this really good. I got the TNF Black/TNF Black/Biking Red. The red sport trim isn't that bright red but a darker shaded one. I'm about 6'1 and weigh about 190lbs, and I'm some what slim fit body and the Medium is perfect. Its feels glued to your body. Very lite weight and material smooth and clean. I highly recommend this product to anyone wanting a slim fit winter jacket.

This is my third Apex jacket, I love the fabric and warmth of this mid-weight jacket. I normally wear a large, however, this jacket runs big so a medium fits me better. They wash well and always look great. I strongly recommend this quality soft shell jacket for everyday use as well as many sports that don't require a heavy weight jacket.

good fit and very comfortable and warn in wind

I've only had the opportunity to wear this jacket three times in fairly cold 5 degrees C and windy. It performs very well, letting in no wind! For such a light thin jacket it also kept me warm. I plan on wearing it through the winter on my training rides while layering with a wicking base layer and a thermal long sleeve underneath. This is my 2nd Apex jacket. The first one I wore for 3 years for everything here in the Northwest, wind, rain, snow, etc. It's warm without all of the bulk. The jacket stands up to the wind, snow and rain remarkably well. In the wintertime I wear a long sleeved shirt with it and I'm very comfortable down to 25 degrees. The only improvement I would highly recommend for this jacket is to make the sleeves a bit looser, and make it waterproof instead of water resistant. I've owned quite a few rather expensive jackets in my life, but none of them held a candle to this one. It would be a big mistake not to try one.

Got this for my fiance as a gift. He absolutely loves it, but the sleeves are a little too long.

I would purchase it again if North Face had a XXS size.

Great jacket that's versatile for seemingly every scenario. Keeps me warm

I purchased the XS GREY HEATHER jacket. This size is almost perfect for men that wear a 36 jacket. The only problem, as you have probably guessed already, is the length of the sleeves. They are too long. But hey, its TNF eternal (and apparently insolvable) problem. Apart from that, the jacket is just perfect. I have been using these jackets for years and they perform very well in winter conditions. They are warm, protect your body from the wind and mostly from rain as well. I am really appreciative about the fact that TNF has recently started to sell the XS size for this jacket. They got it right: nowadays America is a very diverse country and no longer populated only by Teutonic warriors. Believe it or not, small chaps like me love outdoors activities, too ;)

I ordered this jacket and one other similar one and had to send both back. The jackets are very nice, but according to the size chart I ordered an XL. Both jackets fit the same but felt tight. I have purchased XXL before but they end up being to big. It seems that North Face items are made for more people with slim builds. I want a windbreaker without a hood, I want to see what's coming at me. LOL

I love the Apex jacket. However, I do not understand why the sleeve Velcro was removed? Worked perfectly on the Apex 1. The sleeve Velcro gives exactly the right fit regardless of what you are wearing underneith... from T shirt to sweater. Now the sleeves are one size.

This is my 1st Northface jacket so I'm pretty new to the whole experience. Before buying I thought "what is the hype and large pricetag about?" After finally buying one I get the reasons behind this brand. The jacket feels nice and I fell pretty boss wearing it. The only con I have is that the sleeves are a tad long. The sleeves go to about midway over my hands. Otherwise, an overall great jacket.

I use it out around town and take it out on day hikes in my local mountains. This is my second Apex 2. My last one was stolen and I had to get another one right away as it is one of the best,

Here in California don't really need anything to heavy. This jacket works great for CA cold weather. Especially when at Bay Area

Everyday wear, and when temperatures are 45 and above.

I like it a lot but don't go off the fit finder since they do run a bit big.

So I started with a medium, as recommended by the Fit Guide...It was too big and the arms were too long. Ended up returning it and ordering a small, arms are still a little long but not to the point of returning. Around the ribs is a bit tight at times. Did not have much choice as the medium was too big. I don't usually wear this material or a coat like this so I gotta get used to it.

Great for a light jacket, not for cold weather without a layer.

This was a gift for my son. He liked the weight and color choice.

The jacket is comfortable and works well in the rain and wind.
