We bought this jacket for my 16 yr old. It's a really nice material, better than the half fleece ones. My son is usually a size large in shirts and we bought a large in this jacket and it fits true to size. He likes it so much and can't wait for the colder weather to wear it!

I have had a few North Face jackets and really have liked them all. This one is the best! It is light weight, looks great and best of all it does an excellent job of blocking wind and rain. I like the style with the pop up collar, smooth zippers and multiple pockets. I wish the fabric was a little softer but not bad. I like the Velcro adjustable cuffs. Sizing runs a little small so size up if you are close to the next bigger size. Im looking forward to using it a lot this fall and spring. Very nice jacket with a bunch of colors to choose from.

Last year I bought the two tone bionic jacket in grey and I love it so much I had to get it in black.Apex bionic jackets are so versatile good for wet and cold weather and just all around looks one of the best buys from North Face I have ever made and I live in Boston,Massachusetts and I love it !!!!!!!!!!

I'm very happy with the fit and look of this jacket. The sizing chart on the website was very helpful in determining the right size to order. I can't say anything about how well it protects from the cold yet, however, because I live in San Diego county and it has been in the 80's since I got it.

This jacket is very lightweight and very warm. The jacket is also durable and well made. I would recommend this as an all year around jacket.

I gave this jacket as a present and have heard nothing but praise for it. It does a great job blocking the wind and is ideal as an early to mid-autumn jacket up in Alaska.

I had my first one stollen from my car and it was the best all around every day cold weather jacket I have ever owned. I'm on lots of roofs in the winter doing inspections and this is best jacket I have ever owened.

This jacket is awesome. The new relaxed fit is very comfortable.

Great fit, if a little snug based on website size recommendations, but that was what I expected. The fit is perfect for wearing this jacket with just a tshirt or for layering over the jacket. Already worn in pretty heavy rain and the outer shell was great.

I brought my first apex bionic in 2008 & i admit this is a get jacket. I can wear this jacket in three out of the four seasons. In the winter i just wear a hoodie underneath & i am warm. The 2014 version of this jacket is the same thing as the older version but the only difference betwwen the two are to me is it fit slimmer a little tighter but i like that so in cold conditions it keeps you warmer & other is the chest pocket is really smaller than the older version. It can only fit your keys, ipod mp3 player or a small phone just one item at a time. But at least in the newer jacket it does have a headphone hole inside the chest pocket so u can protect the wire of your headphones wire. Overall another great jacket by tnf.
