Just got this jacket so haven't got to use it because it's not cold. But it's very comfortable.

This is for the tall version. I and 6'3 and arm length was 4 to 5 inches past my finger tips stretched out. So you would have to have an arms soan of about 7 ft

The product is ok. I got it in a sale. Feels good. Soft inside and outside waterproof. This is my first Northface.
The best thing I like about this jacket is very light weight.

I am 5'6" tall, 185lbs. I like to wear bigger size jackets so I can wear different thickness t-shirst. I originally order XL (as all of my otjer jackets are XL). The XL size I ordered was too big. I returned it and ordered size LARGE. This one fits better.

Great jacket Bought this one to replace a similar 6 year old North Face jacket that wore like iron...would still be wearing that one but the sleeve was burned accidentally (hey, the jacket isn't flame retardant of course). I use this jacket to travel frequently as it lends itself to all kinds of climates (I often leave when it's winter weather at home and fly to a warmer area...plus its lightweight and still looks great after being jammed into an airplane overhead bin!). It layers superbly with my North Face down vest for winter weather.

I have been looking for a lightweight and stylish coat for cold fall days and some wintry days as well. This coat is wind resistant and with proper layering can meet most cold days in the Midwest. The high collar will keep my neck warm and dry.

Excited about this jacket. Unfortunately the Fit Finder recommended me a Small, which is too large. The sleeves go well past my wrists. However, I'm still excited about this jacket, so I will be returning and reordering a smaller size.
I had a feeling that the Small might be too large, but I made the selection according to the Fit Finder recommendation. I would recommend that certain buyers be aware of this possibility with the sizes.

Love the overall updated style. Only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is I liked the adjustable wrist closures on the original style.

I love this jacket! I use it and find it suitable for rainy or windy days. It isn't too hot and keeps just the right amount of warmth in on chilly days. Not to mention the crisp clean look to it! Lots of compliments on this jacket.

Took this jacktet to Mt. beirstadt in late May for 4 days.... temps ranged from 25 to 60.... 35 on summit day, 10 to 30mph wind. Great jacket, wind proof, sheds light precip, warm. I used this jacket all winter, from, peak baging in spring, hiking, to ice fishing, down to 25-35 deg with a single base layer and it was warm. (Bring a puffy for when you stop moving in colder temps, but you will remove it once you start moving again) TnF Windwall cuts windchill like a champ. Im 6'0" 165lbs, med fits like a glove, with plenty of room for base layers, and a mid fleese. Mid layers, ie puffy, shell, hoddies, will fit over nicely, and shell on top of that and still feels great. Harness fit over with minimal bunching.
Pro... great soft shell feel, the stretch is awesome, warm, windproof, nice style!! Water resistant, Harness works well with it.
Con.... DWR could be better. After some moderate use, in less than a year i have to reapply DWR. Not bad but the shoulder area where backpack sits wore off first (duh) but was hoping for a beter resistance from the DWR. Still sheds light precip, but wets out in light to moderate precip . Its not water proof not ment to be, but at first it did wick water away rather well!!!
Good work tnf i be getting g a hoodie version soon!!!

Very cool jacket but the sleeves are too long. Maybe Velcro wrist straps would have helped.

Fantastic utility from this jacket. It's lightweight and fashionable. Above 35 degree layered with a decent hoodie or fleece and it's great for going downtown for a coffee or running errands. Pretty much keeps all the wind out and its sleek design gives a nice simplified feel.

This is a great jacket. Doesn't hold up really well against very low temperatures. It's comfortable but runs a bit big. The sleeves are quite longer than expected.

I use my Apex Bionic jacket for everyday wear when the temperatures are in the upper 30's or higher. It is lightweight but warm and is a great wind stopper. It also can shed a light rain if needed.
