This was for my 15 year old son who did not have a coat and did not want one. I wanted him to have a coat in case he needed it on really cold days. He did not want anything too thick or puffy. We found a solid black one in a store and he liked how it felt and fitted, but he did not want solid black. So I got on the website and found this one. The only thing I was little disappointed in was it doesn't have a hood. I found the same style with a hood, but you did not offer this color.

I love the look of this jacket. Very happy but I normally wear a 2xl and returned this for a 1x because the sleaves where way to long. It feels much better but is just slightly tight in the shoulders while putting on and taking off the jacket. My biggest issue is I find the colar far to high especially while sitting. Still I very much love this jacket.

This jacket fits perfect. The soft interior is comfortable and warm. The exterior keeps the wind out and repels rain well. LOVE IT!!

This jacket does what it says it does. In Oklahoma it blocks the wind. In Michigan it blocked the wind but not really the cold and of course thats because its not a cold weather jacket. I put on a hoodie under the jacket and I was fine in the 26 degree weather that day. Back in Oklahoma in the rail the water just rolled off the jacket. Two thumbs up and I'll happily wear it for years to come.

The is an excelent all around jacket. Definitely not a rain jacket. But it'll keep of drizzle and snow. Also supper easy to clean. You can litterally just wipe it down with a damp rag!

Purchased this jacket for one of my sons for Christmas and he loves it. My other son liked it too, so I bought him one for his birthday in January! Very nice jacket and great quality.

Got the Rosin Green and I love the color/print. If your're interested in the this color, the pictures Zappos has are accurate of it's true color. The NF website has some pictures that show it as a bright green and another website has it as much more brown I color. Great print for someone looking for something different and very stylish in my opinion. I'm 6' 185 and got the medium and it fits perfect- I like a more slim fit. This is a shell essentially so it's not insulated but it is windproof and water resistant. I image this with a wool sweater maybe a thermal base you could go down to low 30's and if active below that. Love the collar and nice to have a cinch for the waist. Could use some elastic at the wrist or Velcro which evidently they used to have but cheapened up. Did I mention I love this color?!

This has quickly become my husband's favorite every day jacket. He has already gotten many compliments on it. The fact that it is water repellent is a big plus too! It's nice enough to wear to and from the office, but also perfect for weekend outings. Jacket fit true to size.

I find this outerwear quite representative of my current stage in the journey of life I pursue. It elates me to know that there is a cloth that can truly illustrate my inner dogma.

I bought this jacket for my boyfriend who has had multiple Northface Jackets in the past. He loved it the minute he put it on. It fits true to size and form. He is bigger in the chest and shoulders so I thought I should up the size to an XL from a L but when he put it on it fits just fine in that area. These jackets are perfect for Men that want something sleek and casual to wear to church on a Sunday or out to a bar in the evening for drinks and dinner.

Bought this jacket for my husband. He loves it. He said it is super warm. Only down fall is that it doesn't have the wrist adjustment strap like his other North Face Apex Jacket.

The jacket wasn't as warm as we thought it would be, but it will make the perfect jacket for fall and early spring. Due to the material of the coat, it can be worn for a casual or professional look. You can't usually go wrong with North Face!

This is one of the best wind block fleece out there. Just the right weight to keep you warm. When it's around 45-50 degree outside,it works great for me. When it's colder, I'd need either a Khumbu or Denali lined underneath some shell.

Specifically searched for The North Face Apex jacket for our 15 year old son since my husband has had the jacket for years and can wear it for 3 seasons here in New England. The jacket has some upgrades in technology so the Apex Bionic 2 worked perfectly in an adult small. It is long enough in the front and has great pockets. It is light enough for our son to wear to school in the winter and cram in his backpack when some classrooms are too hot to wear a jacket. He loves bold colors so the cardinal red/sequoia red was ideal. We paired it with a North Face sequoia hat so he wasn't too 'bright'. Love that it is machine wash too!

I bought this for my husband who actually HATES wearing coats/jackets in the truck. But this one is not bulky at all! He wears it everywhere, including in the truck while he drives. Its soft and he stays warm in it even in below temps. I will definitely buy another 1 for him in a different color! Highly recommend to anyone

The only real con for me was the fit of shoulders. I'm 5'9 190lbs (I have broad shoulders). The large was too tight, I felt like I'd bust the stitching out. I went with the XL, and the sleeves were too long, but at least my model had velcro at the cuffs. I've worn it two winters now. If you wear a light sweater underneath it's surprisingly warm. Not ideal, but will do the job in frigid Ohio. As a "jacket" it's hard to beat. I've worn it many times while riding my motorcycle, great for blocking the wind.
