It is light and warm, but isn't water resistant. I also have urban parka. I would love if North Face would make a parka that is 700 fill (warm) and is water resistant like urban parka. All water resistant parkas are only 550 guse down fill. Please make a warm (700 guse down fill) parka next year. Also make it a little longer 33-34 inch.

Pros: Warm, comfortable, works great in the snow and mild rain. Cons: it is relaxed fit and I ordered a S to be on the safer side. The fit is still baggy.

The Jacket is essential for walking between classes.

Winter camping, ice fishing, hunting.

A bit tight in chest and loose in belly but OK. Very light and comfy and warm.

8 years ago I purchased a goose down 700 with zip hood. The best jacked ever bought. I just purchased a fill down I need to return parcka, and need to purchase down feathers. Much warmer jacket and 100% more comfortable.

Good jacket for MN weather.

I live in Iceland so it's very cold and I can use the jacket for school and all sorts of stuff. I walk to school and never feel cold because it is so warm!

I have 5 North Face jackets all in size large. This parka is a large however the arms barely reach my wrists. For a cold weather jacket you would think they would make the sleeves long enough to reach the gloves. Which they don't. There have been no issues with arm length in any of the other jackets but would recommend trying this one on prior to buying.

I can tell it's a great jacket. It's super lightweight and comfy yet really warm... Only problem is the fit is so large. I used the website size finder and it suggested a medium. Length on the jacket and sleeves was good but the body was way too large. Most of my clothes are size medium so I thought this would be good, too bad I can't really use it.

Couldn't be as agile as I'd like to be in it but if your only concern is warmth it's the right choice.

Feels warm.. ok build.. sleeves suck.. wish the closed.. if it's real windy.. air is gonna creep up there.. I expected better

Bought this jacket after reading online reviews that it's warm. I thought it's going to be a thick parka, but it's really light, I feel like north face is not using enough down in this.

It lakes of quality

The jacket i received is not as thick as all of the pictures show or reviews rave about. I was expecting a thick super warm coat but the arms are not very full of down - therefore making this jacket a lot less warm then expected. When i opened the box it looked like the coat was deflated. Very unhappy about this purchase.

I washed it in a front-load washer in cold water, fluff-dried it with tennis balls, still the filling got all clamped up in the sleeves. Very sad.

I did not like this jacket because i thought it was very thin.
