No complains, fits well.

This is nice to have for the winter time especially with the liner. Minnesota can get pretty cold and when it starts to warm up you can just use the liner,which is so convenient

awesome 3-1 the liner is perfect to wear by itself on chilly mornings and then zip it in and head to the snow as needed

Northface is the best cold weather gear I've had!

I also use the shell with a couple polar fleece jackets including a heaving polar fleece from North Face that I've had and used for 15 years.

Great for cold weather

The jacket is great! The two layer system is awesome. If you don't need the top layer, it can be taken off and able to be rolled up and packed in your small bag. It's a great hiking jacket as well as a skiing or snowboarding jacket. It is a little heavy duty as far as how thick it is but like I said with the two layers system it works well.

Overall, this jacket is great. I use it just to wear outside, frequent temperatures of single digits and negative wind chills. Fits well and doesn't seem over-bulky. The inside jacket works very well for later winter/early spring time.

I bike to work and need something with extra length and warmth on bad weather days. This does the job and then some. The liner isn't super good looking in its own, and there were some exposed threads in the shoulder, but I will say it's a much warmer liner that of my last triclimate. The shell is simply top notch. Zippers are of excellent quality, hood fits well over my large headphones (I realized this is for ski helmets). This shell is also much better at breaking harsh winds than my last triclimate. I will say that the TNF black color of this item appears to be a very dark grey, whereas most other TNF black items I own, such as backpacks, are a true black. I was going to exchange this jacket for that reason, but the sheer performance made it impossible to part with. Time will tel how it holds up but I'm thrilled with the first few weeks of use.

I bought this just before Noreaster hit New Jersey, and it kept me warm and dry during windy, rainy and snowy storm. Also it looks very stylish. I had the shady blue color, and can wear it with almost everything. Overall, I loved it. Looking forward to use and test it in different conditions.

Great jacket. Perfect jacket to add to the collection. very warm, versatile jacket. I use it as a daily coat for all conditions, as well as winter activities (namely skiing). Definitely recommend.

This is a great jacket. I've purchased many that promised to be windproof, but this one actually is. The inside shell is as warm and windproof as advertised too.

I recently added this excellent jacket that provides greater warmth and flexibility to my collection of the three other Northface jackets. All of them fit perfectly and provide me with a tremendous array of choices to deal with any weather.

Pros Jacket fits nicely, trim-ish fit but not overly tight. Overall, the fit is larger than other jackets. Inside liner jacket removes easily. Cons Maybe obvious, but features like the powder skirt or pit zips but cannot be used when the liner jacket is in.

This jacket is great for all weather conditions with the three ways to wear it. The cut is slightly tailored which fits very nice and stylish while also keeping warm and dry. I tried on many other jackets and settled on this one. It has a rugged exterior and heavy duty main zipper that looks like it will last a long time.

Great winter jacket especially if you live the northeast knowing how bad the weather gets up here. You won't feel the wind and the cold wearing this. Such a fantastic jacket.

It's perfect for skiing and good for everyday use. Not heavy at all.

Purchased for my son. Used it on a ski trip in Maine. Cold windy day. Perfect Maine ski day. He said it kept him warm and comfortable.

Used for my everyday winter where temperatures can hit 40 below. Also used for trail walking along the river. Keeps me warm and no drafts!

Wouldn't ski in any other jacket

I love this grey color. It's very different from other greys out there. It's like a gun metal. The coat is warm but not too warm. Easy to move around and not overly bulky. I even wore it on the plane. This will get great use from me in a variety of weather contortions during my travels!
