Customer Reviews New Balance Vazee Urge v1

I have been a loyal New Balance customer for years, but these shoes began falling apart within less than three months. The mesh covering on the toe has already started to fray on the left shoe, leaving a hole. The show is moderately comfortable, and the style is attractive. But, the craftsmanship is subpar. I am extremely disappointed with my purchase and likely will not purchase New Balance shoes again.

Amazingly lightweight? and durable.

This runs .5 size small. Zappos service was helpful and allowed me to exchange for the next size up. They're comfortable anb breathable and doing exactly what I needed them for.

Had these about 2 weeks and they have done well. Have not added any innersoles for arch support but might eventually. The price is great.

As soon as I put these on, they felt like a regular width shoe that I have. I compared them with the regular width, and they feel just the same. I compared them with the 2E width NB shoes I am trying to replace, and the old NB shoes are definitely wider. Sending these back right away. New Balance are great for support, but I'm not sure if I'll go with a 4E shoe or another brand entirely.

Some of the newer New Balance models are very narrow and pointed. Felt half a size to a full size smaller, but if you look at the bottom view, you will see that the toebox shape is quite slim compared to other New Balance models. I don't know if this is the trend in fashion sneakers, for a more streamlined look? But it definitely was super tight, so much that it's nowhere near "true to size" for a regular wearer of New Balance sneakers previously. Buyer beware. Of course Zappos has great customer service but I bought mine from the sister site 6pm, because the color is last season and all blue instead of blue with crazy lime green or orange.

After going for two 5K runs in these shoes, the left one is rubbing the ball of my foot uncomfortably, possibly causing a blister in the future. Since I wore them outside it was too late to return them, otherwise I would have. Your mileage may vary, but I've been getting New Balance running shoes for years, and these are the first ones to not be great.
