The sole is wide, providing a good walking base. I initially thought these shoes were made of cardboard because they were so light, but they have held up great. I have owned these Clarks over 4 years but they are still in good shape: there is no loose stitching, and the glued-on soles are still firmly attached. They are comfortable to the point that I do not think about them while I am wearing them. They look good with jeans or chinos. I added arch supports recently because after about 3 miles of walking my (flat) feet were starting to hurt. I'm in my 60s, weigh about 165-

Nice looking and feeling, but I wear orthotics and the stock insoles can't be removed.

These shoes became awesome, once I added some half-length heel supports.

Nice shoe but not wide enough for my foot

I bought a pair for my son and he says they're light and comfortable.

Nice looking show that's good for casual looks. As a few others mentioned, this does run large and I would order a 1/2 size down. I use insoles with them to fill the extra space and because I stand for long periods of time.

These shoes seem to run a short in length.

I injured my foot many years ago and it's very difficult for me to find shoes that have adequate depth for my toes. These shoes are been the best I've found after trying several brands, sizes and styles. The size 11 M and 11 W shoes were too short for my foot; I ordered a size 11.5 W and am hopeful they will fit. I liked the workmanship, style and color but toe space depth was lacking in the size 11's.

As expected, except right toe is considerably lighter than rest of shoe. Must be factory second.

Purchased the first couple pairs (size 10M, then size 11W) for my boyfriend, he wears different sizes depending on the shoes. So the third time was the charm as it is said...these for the right fit for him. I'm hoping he enjoys wearing them on his trip to see his first grandson graduate from high school this summer. I will find out once he calls to tell me how they are holding up. He seems to like the style and in my opinion one cannot go wrong with Clarks.

The shoe looked better on line. It was a tight fit and I had to send it back. Not satisfied with this particular style but was very satisfied with my other order.

So far, very pleased with purchase. Good looking shoe, that looks as good with jeans as with a suit. Fit is comfortable, and I like how light they are, as I will be doing a lot of walking in these shoes. So far, so good.

Bought these for my son (25) who is a teacher and on his feet all day. He needed something that would look professional but be comfortable. He also tried the 12 wide but the 12 mediums worked fine. Also ordered an kept a pair of the Cotrell Edge in same size and color, and will alternate wearing them so they both last longer.

Looks good but limited padding on sole. It should mold to my feet over time but is unlikely to be appropriate for long stretches standing or walking.

Did not like material used in uppers

I'm going to return these because the wides are not very wide at all. Pretty disappointed because I have other Clarks that fit well. The styling is ok but not great.

They look nice but are not comfortable walking much. My feet ache after wearing them so I’ve just stopped. Always hard to tell until you break in a pair of shoes but haven’t worn them in months. Going to return.

The shoes fit well, were comfortable and appeared to be made well. Some additional arch support would be welcomed. II walk a lot and I could see that they are not great walking shoes. I have other Clark shoes that are solid walkers, and also Clark dress shoes and slip on loafers.

I've ordered several different sizes of this shoe, hoping I could find the correct fit--but after trying 4 different sizes, I've decided this shoe will never fit my feet. The problem for me is that there isn't much depth to the shoe for my toes and they put pressure on the top of my toes which, after 30-45 minutes, becomes very uncomfortable. There's no way I could wear this shoe all day. I need a shoe with a deeper toe and these shoes don't provide that. I'll search for a moc toe shoe that may provide more space for my toes. The quality and workmanship of these shoes were excellent.

Good looking, lightweight shoe. I wish it had some arch support and a more comfortable footbed though. My first day wearing them and my feet are a little sore. The footbed feels a bit stiff so maybe the comfort will improve after it's been broken in? I hope so...

After only 3 weeks of wear, this pair is already wearing down on the soles, and hurting my feet. The last pair of these lasted me for 6 months, but not this one. It must have been made in a different country from the pair I bought last year. I am extremely disappointed.

These shoes feel very cheap. They are somewhat comfortable for a short time. Then they are very uncomfortable. I have loved Clark shoes since the 90’s. However their quality has been spiraling down constantly. Te materials they use feel very cheap. They are nothing like what they used to be.
