This purchase is my 3rd pair. I finally wore out pair 1 by clearing debris off my road bike tires. My first 2 pairs did not have the sensor fingertips. I always had to lick my glove to use my phone. When its really cold, I wear a thin liner glove under these to keep my fingers from freezing. They stay reasonably warm even when soaked. The little loops at the openings really help seat the gloves in place.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
My wife has had a pair of these for years, and she loves them. My hands are on the smaller side, and the men's small are too large for me. If they fit - I'd have at least one pair; they're a great glove.

These are a bit stronger than typical fleece liners. Probably much better for dealing with fire. The touch fingertip works well. Not very warm, and over-priced even at the sale price. However, even XL's are tight around my palm and ridiculously long in the fingers. I have to return them.

Ordered small. Fingers are a bit long and fit isn't snug. Good in ~35 degree weather. Good quality.

I got these on clearance with free shipping. In total I paid around $22 for them. I think that's a fair price. The good: - Very lightweight, disappears in your coat pocket. - Decently warm for the weight - Nice color - Good fit on palm and thumb - Phone screen touch works well The bad: - Fingers are totally whack, as noted in multiple reviews. - Zero windblocking, fingers can get cold even around 50 degrees if there's high wind. Seems like they rolled out a new model with a better fit.

I've got a lot of respect for OR gear, and these gloves are the same material as the last pair (the good) but the fit is not good. It's like they were made for Edward Scissor Handsway too long in the fingers with pointy instead of boxed fingertips. I'll still wear them, but I'll be reminded of the lesser attention to fit.

I bought a pair of these about 5 years ago, I loved them. The fit was great (a bit larger than most gloves, I have fat hands), they were my go to glove for winter cycling, blocked the wind and we're fairly water resistant, and breathable. So the fingers finally wore out and I got an extra year or two with holes because I loved them so much. I put new ones on my birthday list this year, I was excited. What a let down! 3 stars is a stretch. The fit is like all the other gloves, for tiny hands with long fingers. They don't seem as soft as the old ones, but that could change with use, I'm not sure. The thing on the index finger that is supposed to allow you to use your phone is like having a piece of wood strapped onto your finger, really reduces the dexterity of the glove and makes the end of the finger really tight.

Not as warm as expected, but good for an underlayer, but cover with weather proof materials

Good gloves, beautiful and comfortable. The gloves is it very warm than I expected. You need to make some sports whit that gloves to feel warm and very good in cold condition. But if you just walk you need liner

I really liked the gloves, but would not buy them again due to the heavy pilling of the wool. They're aren't good for more than one season's wear unfortunately.

I got them because they have no animal products in them and thought they looked relatively nice to go with a nicer coat, but still not terribly warm at all. Neoprene options of gloves I looked at first and bought. These may be just the slightest bit better.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I got medium gloves and despite fitting quite well in another set of Outdoor Research medium gloves (Pl 400 Sensors), the fingers on these were too long for the grip and touch tips to matter without having to pull each finger down individually and then they'd of course slip back up. But otherwise they fit well so I don't know if sizing down would help. The loop is useful for putting them on but not quite for pulling them off and perhaps this is unfair for having them such a short time but I didn't get the impression it was going to stay attached very long. Because of the fit issue I didn't try wearing them out in the cold so I can't speak to that.

The specs on the website are wrong. The tag in the gloves says the shell is made of 63% polyester 26% wool, 11% nylon. They feel pretty cheaply made to be honest. They made the index finger of these gloves way too long. It's an inch longer than my actual index finger. I don't have small hands and got these in medium. The touch screen feature doesn't work too well on the index fingers due to the extra fabric but it works fine with the thumbs. The inside feels like cheap polyester, which it is.

Not worth the money. Hands get cold quickly in 20 degree and below and the "sensor" aspect is average at best.

Pull loop tore off on second day of use. I wasn't even pulling hard to get them on. Maybe I just got a defective pair? Or is this common with this brand or model? And since I am a month after the return window, now I am stuck with defective broken gloves.

67 year old male size LARGE. I've bought a ton of gloves and these run long in the finger for the size/width. I've always bought size large gloves and from many manufactures. Maybe it's a manufacturing quality control problem but it makes little sense.

Finger tips stick out close to an inch past your fingers, warm enough.

I bought this same glove 15+ years ago and they are my favorites when the temp is in the 40's. The new pair I just bought are awful - poor fit and construction. A finger on each hand isn't even sewn on straight! The seams inside the glove stick out and rub against the wrist and the fingers themselves are too tight to the point it feels like the circulation in my fingers have been cut off. I have lots of OR products for all the seasons but these gloves are a huge disappointment.
