I thought these shoes would make me feel more comfortable at the end position (bottom) while squatting. In my personal case (perhaps because I got used to doing squats barefoot), they didn't help. In fact, I took them off while doing a few sets and I instantly felt more comfortable barefoot.
This model does not have a very steep heel; maybe other models with higher heels would provide a better feeling. I mean, it appears that the rational for these type of shoes is keeping a foot/leg angle as close to 90 as possible. That seems to assist the biomechanics of the squat movement (especially if your ankles have mobility restrictions as it happens to many people who sit for long periods of time).
The shoes feel great. They are well made and look like a quality product. They are comfortable to wear. I noticed they're truly not made for walking; the sole is very rigid, not flexible. They are made for lifting, that's why.
Size: very important, just go one full size down. I have size 9UK, they were too big (some reviewers pointed this out). I then ordered 8UK and they were perfect.
As much as I liked them, I decided to return them because I didn't like them for what they were intended to be used (or I didn't allow myself enough time to adapt to them and start feeling the benefits they may offer).
I still give them 5 stars because I think the fact that I personally didn't find them helpfull doesn't mean they are not a great pair of shoes and, especially, maybe other people may find them excellent for their intended use.

Great for lifting and very stylish. I'd say they are a little wide and would prefer them to be more snug but still a great purchase

With these OHS and squat snatches are soo much easier. With Nano 5 I struggle, but now it is on the right track.
Running more than 800 m is not fun thou.
