fantastic sock/boot. super price point. love they are machine washable! Only feature I would like to see improved on a bit would be the soul of the boot. I plan on wearing them outside on dry days & feel the soul could be more substantial.

I have Acorn slipper socks and have loved them for years! I wanted a pair I could wear outside sometimes and these are wonderfully made and comfortable... IF they ever stop smelling so bad. To me, it's a chemical + old metal odor. I've had them hanging outside for two days and hit them with some air freshener hoping all that will help. I'd LOVE to hear from Acorn about why they use a material that smells so terrible and if there's anything short of washing them one can do, as they'll look and wear differently thereafter so I'd rather not. I'll be contacting customer service for more info.

As other reviewers have stated--the smell coming off the faux fur on these is really awful. I don't know if it will dissipate over time, or if I can wait for that to happen as they really do stink up the whole room they are in, and I have no desire to wear them and take on that smell myself. I put them in my garage to see if the smell goes away, if not they're going back. I bought a pair of the Buff Popcorn color as well, and those smell just fine! Reviewing leaving out the smell, they are super cute, look nice on especially with skinny jeans or leggings. The fit is kind of wide, I wear a 9 and I got the 8-9. I could not have sized down because they'd have been too short. But if I wear socks, they're good, still slightly wide fit, but they're comfortable. .

Love the style and comfort but ladies XL didn't fit, too small. XL was a gift from hubby but usually XL would fit an 11 but so sad they don't fit as they would be my fav's if they did, just a bit too small sadly.

comfy! i like these a lot. i read a lot of reviews that said they are too big, which they are... but i decided too big over too small and it doesn't bother me. i wear them as around the house socks and am happy with the purchase!

These lovely slippers are awesome except that they are ginormous! Unfortunately I will need to return them, but there is something else I will get instead!

the smell! before I even took the ;plastic bag off the box containing these charcoal faux fur slouch boots, I could smell this awful smell coming off the package. The smell was similar to the smell of urine mixed with an unidentifiable chemical smell. I am hoping the smell will go away after a couple of days of letting them hang out on my balcony! Otherwise, they are handsome, and the fit is a bit big (I wear an 8.5 and got a nine) but with socks I think they will be fine.

They loved how they looked but the toe area was too tight and firm. Tried to send back and we had to on our own dime.

I value high quality footwear. These were well made and warm. And super cute. They were the right length but unfortunately the sock part was too big. They were too floppy on my foot and had to go back.

No grip at the heel. It was so loose that it was hard to walk without the boot slipping off.

Boot received way tooooo big. Read theses type comments previous to ordering, checked web site first for sizing an ordered accordingley. You would think thir upper management would make appropriate changes which inevitably long term would increase their net bottom line.
