excellent support for distance walking, cushioned inside, fairly rigid sole, really love the shoe BUT the heel was just too wide, could not lace this up tight enough to compensate and my heel just kept slipping out. Regretful but had to return.

I'm looking for shoes that allow for orthotics, so I tried this version of Drew. Alas, the heel was too wide for my feet, even with orthotics and tightening the laces as much as possible. There was plenty of room for my toes, but the heel must fit well or it's a waste of money. Drew Company, please work on designing shoes for WOMEN with the need for toe space in a large size, even with wide widths, but a narrower heel than men's feet. Thank you, Zappo's, for your excellent service.

I loved the support in these shoes. My feet are narrow and much to my disappointment these shoes were not narrow enough for me.

First of all - I'd like to say that I can't tell you anything about the arch support of the shoe on its own - I wear orthotics. But I can say I have no complaints in that department. I ordered these in a medium and I swim in them. I'm not used to finding gym-type shoes in a narrow width and I just automatically checked "medium" for width. The next Drew shoes I order - and I'm doing that soon - I'll order in a narrow width. ... But these have been great. I underpronate badly with my right foot. This shoe helps keep that in check. I expect a pair of shoes with a narrow width to be of more benefit. I have had some trouble walking because of my underpronation, a weak ankle and some minor balance issues. This shoe helped in all regards. The stabilizing features of the shoe definitely help. My steps have become much more assured, and I now walk in relative safely. This was no small matter for me. I love these shoes and will continue to buy them. To those who make the Drew shows - please continue your efforts to make them more attractive for those of us who want to wear them. And how about some gray, and taupe in color? Thanks!

I hadn't realized that I ordered a shoe, other than New Balance. However; this shoe Drew Flash is great, except with one tiny flaw. The tongue rubs against my instep on my right foot. So, I am returning them. Sorry about that. Otherwise, a good shoe.

GREAT SHOE! If you have trouble walking due to stiff joints or fusions in your feet that cause limited range of motion for any reason this is your shoe. The therapeutic rocker bottom on this shoe will make it seem like it's walking for you. Just know it runs short, so go up a size for a great fit.

I have had plantar fasciitis for the past 20+ years. Since the first day I started wearing these shoes, I have been able to walk without pain. If you are looking for a comfortable shoe, this is it! If you are looking for stylish, not so much. I wear a narrow width, but these shoes look like something Frankenstein would wear. Wide. Boxy. Ugly. But - incredibly comfortable.

This shoe has excellent support and stability while still looking sporty as opposed to orthopedic. I have plenty of room for my toes and can really feel the stability in the arch to control my overpronation. I can wear it all day and my feet are happy!

Love these for the summer as there is thin mesh at the top and sides, so sweating can be minimized. And also the way they are stitched at the top, makes my wide foot look a bit slimmer visually. I took the top insoles out for more vertical room. Will get the black after I wear these for a while. I am 10W with high instep and these feel excellent! Happy right now!

The corners of the tongue are very stiff and I found one corner digging into my skin. Otherwise the shoe was comfortable.

I have only had the shoes for less than a week. Unlike other shoes, I think they require a breaking in period. I wear a narrow and these are wider in the heel than I would prefer. Having to tighten the top lace to prevent heel slipping, the tongue could be a bit longer. The arch support is excellent, the shoes are stiff and not really cushiony. Hopefully they will soften somewhat with wear. Will reserve my final judgement for a month or so

Obviously, this is not a glamour shoe. However, I would have kept them if they had fit. They ran short by at least a half size and the arch hit me in a weird spot that just felt too hard and uncomfortable, causing me to send them back. For a comfort shoe, I was surprised at how little underfoot, esp. forefoot padding there was. Yes, the soles are thick, but the insides were very hard. For the price, I think they could have done better.

I received these shoes and immediately saw that the shoe tongue was not sewn in at the beginning of the laces. These shoes were defective. I was surprised to get these from Zappos. I am returning them.
