Ordered in my usual Ryka size and width (wide, due to bunions). They are very lightweight, but do not have as much cushioning as the Devotion shoe. The Plus 2 is also wider than the Devotion, so will try the medium width.

Based on other reviews, I thought this shoe might work well for me. I have a wide instep (bunions) and a narrow heel. Unfortunately the fit was quite narrow through the instep for me, and overall felt smaller than the marked size. The shoes had to go back.

Shoe uppers are thin and baggy... little substance of fabric with painted design. It bags like a loose sock on the inner foot.i don't want to pay to mail them back, but it reinforced my thoughts about buying shoes on line.

I've owned two pairs. I am 5'5" and 175lbs in my late 40's. They are extremely comfortable and I enjoy walking in them. I walk 40-60 minutes per day 7 days per week on road and sidewalk surfaces. Each day I do about 3-4 miles with my dog in all weather conditions. Both pairs have started to fall apart after 3 months. The tread turns grey on the bottom as it wears down. I also start to feel knee and leg pain as they degrade so I know it's time to replace them. I am disappointed because they are so comfortable but at this price point, they should at least last 6 months.

This shoe is not as sturdy and well built as the other Ryka running/walking shoes I have purchased before. I've had 2 or 3 pairs of Ryka Devotion and could trail hike in them they were so sturdily built, thick souls and sewn. But this Devotion plus 2 is skimpy and this can be seen especially with the thinness of fabric in the overall shoe and the tongue. The tongue even rolls up when you put these shoes on. The cushions in the soul don't feel as thick so you can feel the sidewalk through the shoe more than the regular Devotion.
I'd also recommend:
Regular Ryka Devotion, not the Devotion Plus 2

I selected this style because it was indicated "round toe". I have issues with ingrown toenails, so require wide width and round toed footwear to avoid painful pressure. Previous Rykas suited my needs, but unfortunately I was unable to find a suitable style with the current offerings. Sorry I had to return these, as otherwise fine, good support, traction, etc.

Most reviews recommended going up a 1/2 of a size so that is what I did and the shoe was way too big.

Love this shoe but it runs short and narrow. This seems to be happening more lately with Ryka.

Ive had these for a week and ive already had to replace the insoles. Right from the start i could also feel the tred through the shoe. I would NOT recomend these for heavy walkers or people in service industries who are on their feet a lot.

Love the shoe styling. However the fit causes foot to roll inside when walking as if either there is insufficient arch support or shoe is too wide in arch are

I have been wearing Ryka shoes forever and love them. However, these not so much. I loved the Devotion plus but they don't make them anymore so I decided these couldn't be much different. WRONG! While they fit OK in the toe box, the heel is very loose. DOn't really enjoy wearing them all that much.

I liked the original one so much better. More comfy and more stylish. The coloring was brighter and prettier (to my way of thinking).

Unlike my many other Ryka purchases, this pair of walking shoes offered very little support to my feet which became very uncomfortable after several minutes of trying on. . Before I send them back, I want to try them on one more time to be fair.

I needed a new shoe for Jazzercise which is a high impact cardio exercise program. Based on the reviews, I decided to give the Women's Devotion Trainer a try. It has excellent traction, good fit, and looks sharp. However, in my opinion, it is not supportive enough for the frequent side to side movement that is done in Jazzercise. Rather than a trainer, it is more like a high intensity walking shoe. In fact, the side of the box states it is a walking shoe. Perhaps, this is a good shoe for someone who keeps Jazzercise low-impact or has better ankles than me.

this is the first pair of rykas in 20 years that I do not like. What happened to plain old devotion?

I love the look of the shoes and when I first put them on they felt OK but after walking in them for a short while my feet started to hurt. I took out the insole and place my foot on it outside of the shoe and realize that the arch support began way past the arch of my foot. I had to take the insert out in order to wear these shoes comfortably. I wish that I could return them but I already have worn them so according to policy I can't return them for another pair.

I wear Ryka and have worn them for years. But, I can't wear these because they are too spongy. I love a shoe that is cushioned but firm. These are soft and spongy to the point where my balance is compromised when I wear them. So unfortunately, I can't wear them.

I measured my feet being careful to order the right size and tried wearing them a few times before I gave up. My measurements showed I needed a medium width, but it felt too tight and the length showed to be 9.5 but my toes touched the ends of the shoe. I tried loosening the laces, using a different insole and they are just not at all comfortable. They feel harder than the Revolution 4 pair I purchased in a store over a year ago and are nowhere near what I thought they would be. I've tried wearing them several times walking and I have given up. Unfortunately I wasted my money because since they are worn, I cannot return them. I will never order shoes online again.

The shoe was not wide even though it was a wide size. Also very little material at the toe of shoe-I could tell it would be uncomfortable walking in it

I was disappointed in this pair. The other ones I have nice and cushioned insoles and these are stuff like a board. Not real comfortable

I've been enjoying Rykas shoes for a couple of years now. Absolutely love that they have wide options available and in so many pretty colors for their shoes! This one just isn't it though. This shoe is very small. I had to keep checking to make sure they actually are wides because it's so cramped in the toe box. There are is a sort of bump in the bottom of the shoe in the midfoot area from the cushioning. I think it's supposed to support better or something but it is more agitating than anything. This is only time I've ever had to return a pair for not being wide enough so if you need wide like me don't despair and just check out other options.
