Fantastic support for walking. Stays cool and comfortable.

The shoes are very comfortable with good arch support. I have a wide toe base and narrow heels but these fit well and do not slip. The only negative is that my big toe made a hole in the shoe fabric, and the soles seem to wear out faster than other brands. I did purchase a second pair because of the comfort.

This is my 2nd pair of these great shoes. I purchased them to replace my current pair, which have a lot of wear on them. They are comfortable and make walking a pleasure with their arch support. The color is great and goes well with my walking attire. True to form, the shoelaces Ryka uses on these shoes are not both the same size. On my current pair of shoes, the laces on the left shoe are so long that I have to triple knot them; while the laces on the right shoe only have to be double knotted. The laces on the new shoes are a little uneven, but not as much as my original pair. It's best to at least double knot the Rykas before taking a walk as the laces are a bit slippery and would probably become undone if you only do a single tie. Also, as other reviewers mentioned, these are not shoes you want to wear in the rain, as the water will go right through the top. Since I usually don't walk in the rain, it's not been a problem for me. Would definitely recommend these shoes.

this is my second pair of Ryka sneakers, and I bought them because I was so happy with the first. However, these wore out in a surprisingly short amount of time where my big toe hits the upper shoe (like on socks) I plan to replace them with another pair of Rykas, but if this happens again, I'll have to try another brand

The shoe was poorly made since the material is thin and flimsy. The sole of the shoe was comfortable. Unfortunately, the sizing is also too small since my big toes touched the end of the shoe. However, the toe box felt wide enough after ordering a 8W. What a shame that this could not be better made.

This is my second pair of Ryka Devotion Plus 2. I love them for aerobics. They're lightweight, have ample support, and a cushiony insole. The only difference between my old and new ones is the color.

Shoe was attractive, but not as much support as I was looking for. They would do for normal wear around the house, but would not stand up to a full gym workout. I already ordered a pair of Asics from Zappos & these will be going back.

I have wide feet, falling arches and arthritic knees so finding a shoe with proper arch support and fit is critical but also challenging. Have always done well with New Balance, but wanted to try something a little more attractive for a vacation where I knew there would be a lot of walking involved. Gave these a try - ordered a half size larger based upon reviews (usually a 7 1/2, ordered an 8) which was a good call. I was pleasantly surprised when these fit so well right out of the box! I prefer the flexibility of mesh (also, leather gets so hot), but recognize that mesh uppers don't tend to have the same durability so don't last as long. Walked about 20 miles over three days and I was astonished that these fit so well and that my feet and knees did not hurt at the end of the day! The only downside is that the plastic/vinyl reinforcement strip around the shoes began separating almost immediately out of the box. This hasn't been a huge deal and doesn't cancel out how comfy they are, but honestly quality control should be revisited as this is unacceptable for brand new shoes. Note: I've read people who've said these don't do well when wet but mine have yet to get wet so I cannot weigh in on that potential issue. Overall, I am pleased and will order again as the fit and support were truly fantastic.

I ordered these based on the positive reviews but was disappointed. I went up a half size as I usually do when buying sneakers. I wear 9 w in shoes and 9.5 or 10 w in sneakers. The 9.5 w were way too small in the toe box and were too tight by the ball of my foot. The arch support wasn’t great either. I think I’ll stick with Brooks or ASICS for more supportive walking shoes. They are more costly but worth it.

What is happening with the toe box of sneakers these days? Even Ryka's toe box is way too narrow. Ugh...

I was disappointed that these didn’t fit as they are super cute. I ordered a wide width and unfortunately, when walking my heal had too much movement. I returned them and have ordered a different brand in hopes that they’ll work.
