I've had 2 pairs of these already, I have another brand new in the closet waiting for me, and I'm thinking of ordering yet another pair in a different color. Pros: -They're really comfy for everyday walking, etc. I even use them to train in. -lightweight, good for travelling -They're pretty inexpensive. -They come in lots of colors. -They're good for people with wider feet -They'll need replacing before they start to hurt and do damage to your foot. (It's a pro, really.) Cons: -They may not last as long as you hope. I mean, the shoe in general lasts pretty well, but my first pair got a hole in the right big toe around month 9. My second pair is now 8 months old and again, I have a hole in the right big toe. I always wear socks and keep my nails trimmed short because I workout a lot, so I have no idea what's up with the wearing out in that one spot, on that one shoe. They say you should replace your workout/running/daily walking shoes every year and these certainly make that necessary. -The laces! OMG I can't keep them laced to save my life! Doesn't matter how hard I knot them, or even double knot them, about 15 minutes later, whether on a treadmill or on the street, they'll need to be retied. Really a pain. I'm switching to Lock Laces just for these shoes. Crazy how slippery the laces are. (This has happened on both pairs so far and I have no reason to think they'll be any different on future pairs). I've also noticed that the lace lengths vary by pair. My first pair had short laces and I thought that was why they came untied all the time, but my current pair has pretty long laces - long enough to allow double knotting. -Also I've noticed on this second pair that the design decal on the left shoe is coming off by where my foot flexes. -They're not waterproof at all. If you spill water on your foot while filling up the cat's water bowl, your foot will be wet. If you see a puddle and hope it's not deeper than your sole when you go through it, your foot will be wet. If it rains heavily... well you get the idea. Sunny, dry days only for these ones. I have had bunion surgery on my right foot and I have wider feet, so it's sometimes hard to find shoes that work well for me. I had Brooks Glycerine 13 and loved them, but at about exactly a year I started having other foot problems resembling plantars fasciitis and so I tossed the shoes. They've changed the fit of the newer models of Brooks, so I went to these Ryka and after some time (a few months) my foot problems went away and I love these shoes! So what if they don't last quite as long, they're half the price of the Brooks and wear out faster visibly before foot problems start. I've put over 650 miles walking on a treadmill, 108 hours weightlifting and 8 months of walking around town and travelling to various countries around the world on these shoes, I don't think they owe me much.

My second pair of Rykas. First pair was super comfortable, like walking on a cloud. This pair didn't have nearly as much cushioning. The shoe material is light-weight, but it's wears out quickly. Wouldn't recommend.

I've only had this shoe less than a month and already the laces are tearing out of the loops/holes on the shoes. They aren't reinforced and are just a bad design.

This shoe is nice and light weight but definately runs a half size small. Especially for an athletic shoe, you don't want your toe hitting the end. Even the European size on the box does not equate to the U.S. size. This was the size I always wear and this is the first shoe I have had to return for being a bit short.

L O V E! Great colors, material, cushioning, support. Important for me is plenty of room and depth in toe box -- freedom to wiggle. I usually wear 10 wide, but bought 10.5 wide. Most likely will order another pair once other colors in my size are in stock.

WOW! COMFORT, GREAT FIT, LIGHT WEIGHT! I APPRECIATE A SHOE WITH NO CORRECTION, NEUTRAL, MY ORTHOTICS TAKE CARE OF THAT. ORDERED 1/2 SIZE LARGER THAN MY NORMAL 6 BECAUSE OF SOMEONE'S REVIEW. ORDERED MY 2ND PAIR FOR CASUAL WEAR - THE ORIGINAL ARE FOR MY WALKING.

I loved these shoes out of the box. Cute, so comfy. I walk for exercise (4-9 miles/day) and needed a comfortable, well built shoe to do that activity. It is easily reasonable to expect 500 mi of walking in the life of a walking shoe. I’ve only worn these for 182 miles and the soles are worn down to the bone. Unacceptable. These aren’t cheap shoes so this is ridiculous. I have ASICS that look WAY better than this and have more life after 500+ miles of use. Will never be fooled into buying Ryka again. It’s too bad because Ryka fit design is fantastic - my heel does not slide around at all, as it does in other brands sometimes. But these cost too much to wear down this quickly and with such little use.

My last two shoes have been by Asics, but I wanted something that was wider in the front half of the shoe. I have naturally flat feet, and slight bunions, so I needed something with better arch support, that helps with overpronation, but is also lightweight and comfortable. This shoe really delivers! It is like walking on a cloud. I literally have a spring in my step. I got the grey pair, and it is more like a purple and pink combo. I absolutely love its aesthetic. Also, I can tell that these shoes are giving me great support with every step taken. I highly recommend these to anyone who is consistently on their feet. My only issue with this shoe is that I could probably have even more arch support, but I think that is only because I need to start placing custom orthotics into my shoes. I'm just too vain and cheap to get them. Haha ;-P

Have wide toebox and skinny heels. On my feet all day. Had knee replacement 2 years ago. The most comfortable sneaker I have every bought. The cushion on the bottom is fabulous. Will be buying another pair soon

I just took my daily walk wearing these shoes for the first time. They were comfortable right out of the box, as usual, with this brand. I have a high arch and these were very supportive. I’m looking forward to taking my walks, hikes and trips with these shoes.

I've had these since mid-March but held off writing a review so I could really put them through the walking paces. I have suffered from plantar fasciitis in the past (I'm in remission now) so I'm super picky about shoes. These offer excellent cushioning for my high arches and a lot of cushion - at first it felt almost like walking on clouds. Even now after having them for months and wearing them frequently, I still love them. I ordered mine in a 7.5 wide and the toe box feels great too! Oh - and I felt the price point was good.

These sneakers are my favorite! Super comfortable, even better than my old RYKA Devotion, lighter and not as chunky looking. I have high arches and it's difficult to find adequate support in sneakers, but these deliver. I've been wearing them for a while now and I use them mostly for walking on treadmill. I wear size 7,5 and went with 8 - perfect fit.

These were almost the shoes I picked, but I had to return them because of my stupid feet. I ordered the 6.5 Wide and these shoes fit nicely. They are a super light weight material, almost a mesh, which I appreciated, but others might not. The colors on this shoe are stunning and this brand definitely runs true to size with a nice, roomy toebox. My only problem with this shoes came down to the arch support on the insole. I have flat feet, so a shoes with a high arch rubs against my incredibly low arches and gives me horrible blisters (which is why I have sworn off Birkenstocks!). So, alas, I had to send them back.

I originally purchased an 8.5 (sizing up a half) based on the reviews but ended up exchanging for an 8, which is my true size and they are perfect. They feel amazing and seem to fit my feet exactly in terms of the inside support and I feel no need for an orthotic insert. I haven't worn them all day yet at work and I'll edit my review if needed but so far I LOVE them and they completely match my strange color of scrubs that I have to wear. I am in love.

I love these shoes. I have a very wide foot and high arch and these are perfect. They run a little wider than most shoes which is great. I won't buy any other brand.

I loved the cushioning in these shoes. I had ordered the Hoka One One hoping that the cushioning was sufficient for my picky feet but they didn’t work. That’s when a tried th Ryka Devotion Plus 2. They are great!

I ordered a 1/2 size up due to other reviews. Greatly appreciate the ability to read other reviews to be an educated buyer. Bravo Zappos. I ordered the shoes just before leaving for a vacation with a ton of walking. These shoes are comfortable right out of the box. I have TERRIBLE issues with neuromas on both of my feet. Rykas provide plenty of room and did not hurt my feet at all. My super picky teenage girls even liked the way the white pair look. :-)

I've always liked Ryka going back to my high-impact aerobic days. These days I hobble instead of hop...that said, I like these shoes. They are very lightweight, attractive and have the support I need. They also make my wide feet look trim and petite, which is nice since the rest of me is kinda chubby. I imagine for people with bad feet these are probably not as "orthotic'" as they'd like but for me, they're ok. I have bunions, and recently developed plantar fasciitis, and these provide the support I need to walk comfortably. (I only wear them to walk 2-3 miles a day, not all day.)

These are super comfortable. I'm attaching a photo with arrows of where you can see the shoe is "wavy". This doesn't go away when you put them on... nor should it be like that in the first place. There was also a spot where the shoe was either ripped or not sewn correctly --- you can see it in the photo on the right show near the top edge of the laces. I returned because of these defects.

Even though these were D width, they were very narrow in the toe box and there is little arch support. Also, the plastic reinforcement design on the shoe was already peeling when I got them - they aren't going to hold up to PNW weather like that!

This is an awesome sneaker! It provides a tremendous amount of arch support which allows me to walk longer and faster. There is a great amount of cushioning as well that helps absorb any shock from walking. I’m so glad I made this purchase.

These sneakers are fantastic! They are sooooo cute. I have been wearing them for months now. They are lightweight and super breathable the mesh upper allows me to feel the breeze. They are flexible feeling and make me fee like bouncing. I love wearing them when I want to walk comfortably. They also were great in my hip hop class and the colors are like mermaid awesome!

True to size, comfortable on first walk, love the style and just love Ryka shoes: made for women by women.....wider in toe box and narrower in heel.
