Purchased this jacket for a bit more layers while out hiking, but given it is still winter I have not yet had an opportunity to put this jacket to the test, however, I purchased it in -20 weather and have taken it out for a test. I think this was the perfect purchase for what I am looking for. It packs down very easily and has a comfortable and flattering fit for a puffy jacket. it is a bit thinner than expected but I don't think that has any impact on warmth of the jacket. if you have wider shoulders/arms this is a great jacket. I sometimes struggle with those areas fitting a bit tighter than i would like but this jacket is perfect!

Living north of the 60th parallel comes with its challenges. Our winters are dark, long and very cold. on warm day we get -20 weather, but on avg our winter temps are below -40. that being said, this puffy is my go to puffy. up until -30 I was walking to work with just a t-shirt underneath the puffy, and was still finding it to warm. now that temps are consistently below -40 I find myself needing a long sleeved shirt on some of the cooler days, but still find myself very comfortable with this puffy on my walks to and from work. this puffy is also my go to puffy when I'm layering for long trips on the snowmobile. since snowmobile is our main source of transportation during the winter, I have to be able to layer with out getting to bulky but still staying warm with the winds getting the temps down to below -60 most days during rides. for layering I wear a base layer long john type shirt, with a light sweater, then my puffy, and then my storm bound winter jacket, and I am never cold. I also use this puffy as my main coat when I'm winter camping and need to run outside to grab/cut wood for the stove. its a quick, light easy puffy to just throw on, and I know it will keep me warm to do chores outside. I love this puffy and highly recommend it.

Love this jacket. It fits great (snug like I wanted it). The colour is very pretty, I have gotten lots of compliments. Feathers do come out but I would so not as much as some people have indicated in the reviews. A lot of down products do this and I think it is already loosing a lot less than it did when I first got it. The jacket is light weight and fits nicely underneath my shell as a mid layer. I also wore it spring skiing and it worked great.

I bought this for my adult daughter - 5'2" 100 lbs and the xs fits her great. The Aria down jacket xs is large on her. It is light and comfortable and the blue color looks really cute on her. I like the stitch pattern direction change that breaks up the pattern and give it a nice look.

It does lose feathers as previous reviews stated but I'm not sure whether that will continue as I've only been wearing it for a couple of weeks, I am not too bothered as I got this on sale but would have been disappointed if I'd paid full price as it was quite expensive. It is on the too small side of trim fit, I can't fit much underneath for layering but the next size up was enormous on me!

Made for very slim figures. VERY SLIM. Needs more hourglass space (chest and hips). Sleeves are so long that going one size larger would appear ridiculous.

I love the jacket and I loved the color. I am 5"6' runner with broad shoulders and the jacket fit great through the torso but the sleeves are very slim fit. I ordered a Large and am sad to have to return it.

I am typically a small but purchased the medium because with other brands the small tends to be too tight in the shoulders and short on the arms. This jacket fits me great without being too bulky in the midsection. I love how light it is, yet remains insulative.

Fits true to its size. I'm 5.6", 36-31-38, so based on the reviews saying it fits small, I ordered one size bigger but ended up exchanging for my real size, M. I used it as a middle layer where temperature was around -10C. It kept me warm and was very comfortable while skating, and cross country skiing. It was the perfect jacket and I loved it, until I took it off and saw all the feathers it leaked on my black merino wool base layer. Even hung in my closet, kept leaving feathers on my hoodies next it it. So, I fold it and put it in a plastic bag. Yes, I still like it but... feathers, feathers, feathers everywhere.

I bought this jacket to replace an old (hoodless) REI Revelcloud, which I think was synthetic. The Verismo fits and looks much better, and the hood is wonderful... however, I wear this jacket regularly, which means that my driver's seat is COVERED In feathers. I leave feathers everywhere I go. My dashboard is coated in feathers. They are constantly fluttering out of the jacket from all of the seams and I don't know what to do about it. It's a really warm, lightweight, and extremely comfortable jacket, but the feather situation is really annoying. I am somewhat concerned that I am losing so much fill that the jacket will lose its insulating ability. It is also not very durable at all - I only bought it in November, and already it has some serious abrasions. However, I don't know how they happened since I haven't done anything rough with it - just a few hikes and going to and from work. I really, really love OR gear. The majority of what I wear or bring into the field is OR because I trust it to hold up to harsh conditions and perform well. However, I am not sure about this jacket, and I'm not sure it will go with me when field season comes around. It is very warm and light for casual use, though.

Bought this as a present for my wife and she loves it. Fits great, works as an outer jacket and works great as a layer, looks like a million bucks.

I love this jacket. I needed something to keep me warm in the chill of Coastal SF and at work on the water's edge. It does a good job of protecting me in chilly winds and overall low temperatures (49-63 degrees F). The biggest down side that made me consider returning this item several times was the amount of feathers that leak out. Granted this is my first experience with down, but I'm worried that over time loss of feathers will decrease the jacket's ability to keep me warm. I'd appreciate any advice about this.

The jacket looks great, is super lightweight and warm but it fits very small. I am a medium and couldn't do this one up. My friend who wears a small found it too small in the shoulders. Size up at least one size if buying this jacket. It does look great on once you get the right size.

I ordered the jacket in small but it was too small. I am a small in most products. I am 5'6 and 125lbs. The jacket fit snug around the armholes. I like to put a layer under my jacket put it made it too tight under the arm pits. I loved the color. I may have to go to the OR store to make sure I get the right fit, I need to try the medium.

I like the longer sleeves and the wider shoulder space since I'm a tall climber and often struggle with a jacket that fits. Because of the trim fit the middle is a bit tight for the size, but still fits fine on me, but just be aware that it may not fit like other jacket cuts. The jacket is pretty good: light, warm (for its weight) and breathes well. My biggest gripe is the construction... from day one, the feather is leaking out of the seams. I really really want to like OR because it's a hometown company, but the product never seems nearly as well constructed as Northface, Patagonia, Columbia or Arcteryx. Despite that, I would still recommend it since it is unusual to find something that will fit the tall climber girls. Will live with the downside.

I use this jacket for around town, biking to work, going for hikes, etc. It is my new favourite jacket. It's lightweight and the colour selections are great. I am 5'7, 134 lbs, 30'' waist, 35'' chest and the size medium was a good fit. I would not go any smaller as the chest would be too tight. Sleeves are nice and long as well the torso length is perfect. It has the right amount of pockets including inside pockets which is always handy.

Bought it as a gift for my wife as a winter jacket, so I cannot comment on much other than according to her, it is not warm enough to be a winter jacket (in New England). More of a spring/fall jacket. Had to return it.

I searched for a super lightweight hooded jacket. This is my fave! It totes easily, it is warm enough for PNW winters & I adore the hood.

This jacket is great for cool days. Fits great and sleeves are long enough (I usually have trouble finding long enough sleeves). Very lightweight and doesn't look bulky, and great for layering.

I took this jacket with me on a multi day backpacking / snowshoeing trip in Tahoe. It was exactly what I needed - light in weight, just the right amount of warmth right before I get moving, and easy to take on and off. Plus, I've gotten so many compliments on how well the jacket fits, even while there's enough space to fit another fleece layer underneath.
