So pretty! These boots are rich looking, great looking leather. The front of the boot has leather where the sole of the shoe normally is, this is going to get scuffed up really bad walking up stairs, I walk a lot of stairs. Not comfortable, at all, vanity over comfort. I wanted these expensive boots for a while and finally splurged, well with a Zappos discount I did. I love Zappos.

These are the cutest! I'm so happy I bought them. I haven't gotten through the initial break-in period yet, but I am anticipating they will stretch a bit.

These run small. I had to return mine and order a whole size larger

These are gorgeous, super soft buttery leather. The heel is remarkably well-balanced, and most of the weight of your foot rests on the heel, rather than on the ball of your foot. They look a little precarious but they're actually solid walking boots. I wouldn't go hiking in them or anything but a couple of city blocks will be no problem.

These are BEAUTIFUL. Believe me they look and feel great! The color is spot on and booties play up your calves and legs. I have a fringe purse I was trying to match and these did the trick. Frye as always is a good shoe, a good quality made addition to any wardrobe. Looks good with skirts and with skinny jeans. You wont regret this purchase. I didnt!

So nice! I was invited to a western themed graduation party and because I am plus size and short, I did not even consider cowboy boots, due to my wide calves and high heel preference. These were love at first sight! The oiled leather finish really makes them look rustic, tough, rich and western. The leather is really appreciated in this color. They look more rich in person. When I first tried them, they would not slide in without a panty hose. After they were on, my foot felt suffocated. I was determined to break them in and I was able to tolerate them for 2 hours. I gave my feet an hour of rest and I put them back on. I wore them several times off and on, each time I wore them again, they felt more comfortable. On the third day I wore them shopping. My feet hurt a little. I sat down and wiggled my toes, slid my foot into a more comfortable position within the boot, and I was able to tolerate them for the rest of my shopping trip. They now go on super smoothly, without hosiery.(just footsie socks) they are not tight on any part of my feet, and feel great! High heels for a heavy person are always painful. But good leather workmanship makes it seem painless. There is no pain to any of my toes or the heel like you get with an inexpensive (non leather)shoe. Just the fatigue of walking in high heels, when carrying a few extra pounds. I would still say these are super comfortable!

Frye is an amazing brand. Love at first sight. The price was perfect. 43% off, I think. I look forward to owning them for life.

A great bootie and nice change from my usual black bootie. Height is great. It does feel a little top on the top of my left foot (although my left foot is larger a bit, I will admit). These go awesome with skinny jeans.

Very pleased with the shoe style and fit. Shoes are more beautiful than the picture.

These boots are AMAZING. They are not only beautiful, but incredibly comfortable too. Took me about 3 hours to really break them in and now I can wear them all day with no pain at all. I get tons of compliments.

Great booties! I have had my eye on many pairs over the fall, and when I saw that these were on sale, I couldn't resist. They are PERFECT! Very versatile, comfortable, and everything you expect from Frye. I wish I could have them in every color.

Every time I wear these I get compliments. In fact I'm going to wear them now. They work with everything jeans to dresses. As for comfort they are heals, but the feet are comfortable and socks or bear - enjoy

These boots are GORGEOUS. Beautiful color (I had the smoky black/gray)and excellent quality. They were very comfortable... until I stood in them for 30 minutes. They killed my feet. The heel was just too high for me. I felt like I was standing on my toes. I normally wear a 3 1/2 inch heel with a little platform. The description of these said 3 1/4 in. heel but they felt more like 4 1/4. I could not have worn these for any length of time so I sent them back. I desperately searched for another pair, exactly like these, only half an inch shorter...just enough to get me off my toes and allow some my weight to be distributed to my heels. No such luck with Frye. Not this year anyway. Maybe they'll make this same boot with a slightly shorter heel. I hated to return these because they were the exact style and color that I wanted, but I couldn't see spending this kind of money and not be able to wear them all day. I may have cried a little. However, for people that are not wimpy and can handle a taller heel, I say go for it!

These are the most beautifully uncomfortable shoes I've ever purchased. They are higher heeled than described. I loved them but couldn't wear them

these boots are Gorgeous!!! unfortunatley I may have to return them as they are super high! Zappos says they are 3 1/4 " in heel height but the Frye website says they are 3 and 3/4 which is definitely more accurate. I am going to order another pair of Frye boots with a shorter heel before deciding if my bunion can handle this height!

Loved this bootie but it is SO HIGH! Zappos states it is 3 1/4" but the Frye site says it is 3 3/4" which it is. I usually don't scoff at the task of walking in a 4" heel but because of the shape of the boot and the height, walking in these was very clunky and not for amateurs. I had to return them because they were too high and too hard to walk in. I ordered the Frye Tess short instead which is similar in style and only has a 3" heel.
