It was probably plenty adhesive as-is, but it didn't feel quite as secure as I was hoping when I first put it on, so i added a little two-sided tape to the fabric below the cups. That did the trick. Stayed exactly where I adhered it and was comfortable all night, even with some dancing. Shaped me pretty well, too. Happy with this purchase.

Worked great underneath a deep-V wedding dress. Cups add a small amount of padding and structure. I ended up using some dress tape to make sure everything stuck throughout a night of dancing.

This bra was a flop for me. I purchased it with hopes of wearing it under my wedding dress. I have a small chest and I just wanted a little coverage while I was putting on the dress. It just didn't fit right. It didn't feel secure. I don't like it. I'm sad that I can't return the item since it's been opened, but I understand the return policy due to hygienic reasons. I'm going to try it with the included halter straps with some of my tops to see if it's any better. At least it's not ridiculously expensive.
